2022 Ford Maverick Hybrid 12V battery issues

my 2022 maverick hybrid with 42K battery died and i had to jump start and the engine light stayed on for few days and Vanished, so I scheduled for a check up and diagnose to my dealer and the dealer suggested to replace the battery that its not performing well on voltage so i had to replace it and it cost me $425 us dollar after reading on line there was recall done with NHTSA Recall # 25V019 and on ford website its 25S02 i took the paper to the dealer and mention about the recall the dealer denied and said that my vin # does not shows the recall and i have to pay for it my question is did any one had an issue similar on battery and got replaced attached is the report of NHTSA and ford recall website "https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2025/RCLRPT-25V019-5305.PDF" and Ford recall "https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2025/RIONL-25V019-3164.pdf" if anyone had done this on their hybrid please advice me or any suggestion i can follow Thanks you.

That recall is only for 2.0L EcoBoost Engine Mavericks, not hybrids.

You can always look up what recalls are available for your vehicle. Once on Ford's site, linked below, enter your VIN and all available recalls and customer satisfaction programs that have not been completed will be listed like below.

Your error was going to the dealer to get the 12v replaced.

Ford is going to be issuing a recall shortly on the 12v battery issue with poorly designed charging. There is a notification to dealerships that if your battery tests bad they are to replace it under a special warranty. You shouldn't be paying anything. If you have they should refund you.
