I am nor a lawyer nor do I play one on TV......That being said.......
There is very little that can "void your warranty"
A mod in and of itself can't "void your warranty"
If you do a mod and the mod causes a problem then the problem is not covered by the warranty. Your warranty is still in...
This video is for a trailer wiring harness install but it shows how to take the tay out. This starts at time 3:50. At 4:35 he says that you have to "wiggle it around a bit" to remove one of the panels. Notice he cuts the video and starts it again as he pulls the panel out. I found removing this...
You just learned what I learned a long time ago.
Don't ask salesman any technical questions.
Don't believe anything a salesmen tells you without confirming with a second source.
Manuals and brochures are available on line.
"Experience is what you get when you get what you didn't want"
Unrelated story.
My wife had a Taurus a number of years ago. One day the engine froze up due to over heating. There was no water in the coolant system. Apparently an undetected leak.
The darn thing had a sensor and warning light on the windshield washer reservoir but not on the coolant...

The Ford wiring harness is available at Amazon & eBay. As well as the Curt Plug and Play.
It wasn't that a Maverick harness wasn't available, it was that Ford didn't make the part number available. I bought the Ford harness and it is the same one used on a lot of Ford models.
I agree with...
I bought and installed the ford liner. As received all access is covered for screw holes, cubbys, and 12v power points. You have to cut them out as needed prior to installation.
Having them cover the power points on a factory install is just wrong in my opinion. I wonder if yours was an over...
I have a Texas Edition XLT. This reminds me of the threads for the US built 2.5L engines for the hybrid. The claimant there also refused to show the actual ID sticker which clearly shows the build location.
The dealer is the best place to get your vin number.
It is really easy for him to look it up.
You may want to stop in and not leave with out it.
You may want to add this dealer to your not to use again list.
It depends on if you want custom fit or not.
I am really happy with my cut to fit WeatherTech mats from Costco.
IMHO a better value than the custom fit ones. I admit that the custom fit ones look better. But I an a function over fashion kind of guy and the mats I have do what I want them to do.
Sorry for the delay.
The ground screw on the upper left (facing rearward) is where I grounded the inverter.
You can see the stud on the bottom that I used for the negative input for the inverter.
You can see another available stud just to the left of jack package.
I connected the positive...
the positive went directly to the battery. I used an existing stud.
The negative is connected to the body.
I'll try to shoot a view more pictures tomorrow.
