First rule in computer software updates, there's always another bug.
I thought I may have written a perfect program many years ago. But after a little over 4 years, a card that was punched with three errors plus had a hanging chad (one of the punches didn't come completely out and was "hanging in there"). The night operator called me to come in quickly and FIX it......

With the auto-ac that can occur in high humidity - I think the cup is still half full.

Hard to find those threads about "why is my ac running" where a comment is made if climate control is on or off.
The fan can run and check for humidity level being close to dew point even when it's off.

My ‘23 has the battery saver problem. It started after about three months after taking delivery. I always turn everything off including heat and air before turning the vehicle off.

I put in a Die Hard Gold in the Fall of ‘23 and three months later it’s back to no dome lights and the power points die as soon as key is off and driver’s door is opened. I put in an AGM battery a month ago and of course it is working fine for now.

I have never paired my phone or installed the Ford Pass app. Modem fuse is pulled.
Although they still haven't resolved my issue of wiping out the ACCM , they did inform me that it's only SEEMS to be happening with 2024 models

Extended warranty = $1k deduct... no help
HOW did someone get suckered into buying an extended warranty with a $1,000 deductible?? Certainly not a Ford extended warranty...

HOW did someone get suckered into buying an extended warranty with a $1,000 deductible?? Certainly not a Ford extended warranty...
Exactly! All the Ford extended service plans have 100.00 deductible. 1,000 sounds like a car insurance policy 😂. I hope the 1,000 is a misprint

If you can wait and have some warranty left, I advise you to WAIT before getting the update done. I attempted to do an update on a customer's vehicle on last week. His air condition control module was wiped out. After much testing , a hotline engineer advised me to replace it thinking that my scan tool had a hiccup. I installed the new one on Friday. It seems to be wiped out. Hotline tells me that they are working on a solution. This has happened on several vehicles according to my field service engineer. Most have no problem. But a few do. And they are still trying to figure out why. So if you can wait. Or if your vehicle is already out of warranty., do not have it done yet. Another owner mentioned it in another thread. His was wiped out too.
My short version:
Had deep sleep symptoms, mostly in the winter when I drive less but also throughout the year. Also, when truck was parked in garage it would frequently 'click'. I keep AC in auto mode.

Yesterday the ACCM SW update was properly applied after diagnostics revealed error codes and the 12v battery was at 50% charge. Battery was charged & BMS reset.

After letting the Maverick sleep overnight there are NO clicks (AC related relays?).

So far, so good.

A shout out for Marcotte Ford! As usual they are true pros.

You can select $0, $50, $100, or $200 deductible. I did $200 as I plan to use it like a major insurance plan, only if something big fails.

Although tbh, I probably should've done the $100 for not much more $.

This might be a one time thing., or two time, but documented.
I was doing a test at 7AM yesterday and before I turned off my mav. I turned on AC and pressed the AUTO button to low fan and turned off the key.
I monitor the 12 V battery voltage and current, and noticed current drain for over a hour and a half, before it dropped to .02A.
It would have given me the message over ford pass if I didn't have two 12 V batteries under the seat.
When I got home at 5:15PM, a 15 minute drive, the voltage was 14.6 and charging at 14A do note it was charging two used batteries, ( original, and 3 year old), but the battery never got fully charged.
Today test, turned off the AC and turned off the fan and took it out of auto, by turning to fan one speed then turned off the fan control.
20 minutes after I turned off the key, .02 amps draw.

This is the information I have found on my 23 ford maverick hybrid XLT. 14K miles

My '24 Lariat was updated May 27th & it appears to be fine..... My dealer also said it went well.

early 24 (built just before Christmas 23), XLT (not that that makes a difference (does it?)) (LOL this is how rumors and conspiracy theorys get started.)
