I had 4 messages. The Maverick was sitting for a week no issues. A week later, I get three messages within 2 days. no start issues. Dealer tested battery and stated it failed. Battery should be in tomorrow. Hoping to pick up Saturday. FE Hybrid.
9-service center working days in: apparently battery not replaced, but charged ... and BMS sensor replaced ... so now awaiting "30-mile drive and overnight period" prior to re-check of charge ... (so, after the weekend)
Did you have any luck? I have put my visits to the service department on hold because they don't have any answers yet. I am just living with the nearly daily d.s.m. messages and the often not working interior lights, etc. I am still getting d.s.m messages even soon after a 20 mile drive.
For the record, I have no aftermarket accessories that affect the battery, unless they want to use my tonneau cover as a scapegoat. At least I have never had to leave my truck at my dealer for more than two days for them to do almost nothing.
I am willing to get a second battery tender at some point, (1st one is on the Indian Chief) but the 'Ole Ball & Chain has commandeered the Maverick Hybrid for 7-days per week use, so not a current option ... (nor should it be a requirement for problem free reliability, IMO)
I suppose you have fixed this but with 14.6-14.8 dropping shortly to 12.0-12.2 I would suspect a bad cell (2.475v +/-)?
Probably irrelevant to this but: I have a 2012 Honda crv that eats batteries. They will die just over or under 24 months. If I run daytime lights and fan at medium speed that is enough draw to keep the 12v bus at 14.4v if I turn them off it will run mostly at lesser voltage 12.2-12.5 and battery never sees 100%. Just doing that gets 36-42 months battery life. I have out of habit kept my fan on in my lariat hybrid first edition and my voltage monitor in dash power point will read 14.7-14.8v when I ready my truck. (FYI if truck is turned off ready and no 12v items are keeping draw above whatever keeps dc-dc converter active the voltage monitor displays the voltage SOC of battery). As the 12v battery gets closer to 100% the buss voltage is reduced to below 14v. I am unaware to the lowest it will go. It is super important to not overcharge a deep discharge battery. In any case I have not experienced a deep sleep shut down. Thinking about the dash cam draw on the 12v. Was the 8hour uninterrupted learning BMS procedure completed as this could possibly give the computer the anticipated draw down rate so it wouldn't think something was wrong. Then if HVB had enough charge the bms would allow 12v battery to be maintained????
I took delivery of my hybrid XLT LUX three weeks ago and my Blue electric dash lights up when I start off and it goes off when ice starts and never relights until I turn off truck and start another trip. I assume a software tweak was done.
Does the ice keep running when you stop for a traffic light or stop sign? Mine goes to electric at each stop and any down hill if I let up on accelerator , even level road if I keep the power meter below first mark.
The needle goes into the green and I will have about 28-30% electric miles but the only time I see the blue electric word on dash is when I first turn on to ready state and it stays there until ice comes on. It may be that ice is on at idle and battery is not warmed up enough. I probably am running in hybrid mode mostly as I quite often will show 3-12%(
?) with 20-23% acceleration Power usage and am getting around 42-45mpg per trip usually in slippery mode (which Regen brakes less and coasts further at speed). Down hill green vehicle is lighting up on the slightest downhill when foot is off go pedal. Oh! Forgot to mention only have 400 miles on truck so ???

Scroll main screen until " My View " shows then press menu button and select " Fuel Economy" .then your my view screen will show Electric, And when ICE comes on it will have a bar graph showing instant Fuel Economy. (Mpg) .
