I wanted to prevent going to my brand new vehicle and not being able to start it. I guess I am strange that way.
You might want to pick up a jump start box and have someone show you how to use it. I have had deep sleep but my hybrid Mav has always started.

800 miles in 3-4 months is not enough to keep battery charged up.

It looks like I might be in the same boat sooner than later as my battery is not charging properly even with 15V from the DC to DC inverter while running. I love this truck and I will not let a $200 battery keep me from enjoying it after paying $49k for it (Canadian prices - I know it sucks, what are you going to do, eh?). I will give Ford a little time to try to fix it when we get there (one time) and then I will do just it myself the right way! IK am not new to dealing with battery issues as my Saturn would not start if the battery was even slightly depleted.

I was actually thinking I was going to get an easy answer instead of continue searching which is difficult for me. My husband died 3 years ago after 45 years if marriage. He took care of car issues. I am not an idiot, but when it comes to vehicles and sadly technology I am at a loss. This was my first post asking for help. I will make sure not to do that again unless I check how many times the question was asked. By the way what is the limit before one gets shamed for asking?
This is why I have trouble with online sites. Emotion is never clearly conveyed by typing words. I wasn't trying to shame or slam you, I was trying to save you some time. With that being said, I am here for you. My really short answer for you is you will need to get your own AGM battery, (yeah, I know, you can get one for free at the dealer) because the stock Ford batteries don't work or hold a proper charge due to them NOT being AGM. AGM batteries return charges faster for short trip driving. Next, you will have to reset the BCM, (this is in your manual). So, now knowing your situation. You will have to go to the dealer unless someone can help you who lives nearby.
There is a fix, but it't not going to be easy for you and it will take some time. Apologize for coming off strong!

I had the same problem with these Ford Pass messages and I decided to take it back to Ford and be persistent until they got it fixed. I was not going to buy a $250 battery if I didn’t have to on a 10 month old truck. I took it back several times where they always tested the battery and said it was good.

one day I finally caught the service manager at the counter covering for lunch. He put two guys on it they worked for four hours while I sat in the service lounge and watched them. I think they finally reprogrammed the computer but they didn’t put in a battery. After this visit I’ve had no new problem messages on the Ford Pass App. One confession, I’m retired and have plenty of time to be persistent which is a luxury many other people don’t have. But t worked.

you should take it in, you could have a bad battery.
Some people have this issue and some don't. I don't btw.
I take that back, I did have a battery drain problem but it was caused by an alarm system that was installed by the dealer. After it was disconnected no problems.
So, there can be a number of things to cause this, one is certainly a bad battery, and another, an added on electrical device.

My 2023 Lariat Hybrid has done this a few times since delivery 7 months ago. I don’t drive it much compared to most people so only 1200 miles.
It has never failed to start and only effects the FordPass remote functions so not an issue for me….yet. I purchased a jump box before I picked it up based on other peoples issues.

In my experience it doesn't matter how much the truck is driven. Once mine started getting deep sleep messages, the battery was never fully charged no matter how far the truck was driven. This issue is due to either bad batteries or a problem with the battery management system.

Ahhh ok. Thank you. I'm an old lady and this is my first truck. Technology and I are not friends. Sounds like something I don't have to worry about. This info will help me. Sorry about not knowing and too many others asking. I didn't know.
To get out of deep sleep is like dance steps...ha ha ha! Mine was in deep sleep when the dealer didn't remove it after shipping..Honolulu Ford absolutely sucks...I am so glad I won't have to have my work done there, I moved to New Mexico...and Chalmers Ford is the BEST! (IMHO)

I started getting messages from ford pass and wonder if anyone else has. It says my fordpass connect has entered deep sleep mode in order to conserve battery energy. Remote features my be temporarily unavailable because your battery charge leval is low.
I have a 2024 hybrid lariat. 800 miles and I picked it up in January this year. I am bringing it in Monday. I called ford pass and they were concerned as he has never seen this on such a new vehicle.
Same happened to my 24 EB AWD Lariat. At less than 200 miles. It now has less than 500 miles. Bought in January. Only used for in town errands. What I did was to disable everything in the vehicle having to do with communications - wifi, FordPass, updates, notifications - turn them all off via the settings. Then I put a battery charger on the battery and charged it overnight. I have left everything turned off ever since and have had no problems whatsoever. I occasionally need to check for messages, FordPass notifications, recalls etc so I will turn everything on for a half hour then turnt them off. I honestly believe that the first thing all dealer service advisors are taught is to say "We've never seen this before..." What a crock. Had the same problems with a 2020 Explorer that would go into meltdown mode with FRONT COLLISION WARNING !!!! mode as I was slowly backing out of the garage. Then cycle through every disaster it could possibly alert me to. Ford, just like Boeing, needs to put an engineer in charge of the company.

No apologies needed Kat75444, don't get intimidated by some rude comments. If ya don't know something, then ask and someone usually will politely give you some help. Just because the question had been asked before shouldn't prevent you from trying to learn about your Maverick. The forum is somewhat difficult to maneuver thru if you've just joined in. . None of us knew what we now know before we acquired that knowledge. If we're lucky, we can learn something new every day.
So don't let the snarky comments bother you.
I sometimes get the DeepSleep message even when I get home from a 10 mile round-trip to the store if I lock my Maverick, then go back within 5 minutes in driveway and use the key fob to unlock the door or tailgate. I would suggest that you do familiarize yourself with how to " jump" your truck in case you ever need to do it in an emergency situation. The connections are under the hood for the Hybrid to make it easier than going under back seat. And get yourself a "jumper"something like Halo brand that you can see demonstrated on QVC channel on TV. It's a lot safer than using battery cables connected to another vehicle, ( get the one with the air hose function in case you ever need that feature too).
Well worth the peace of mind having it handy.
Hang in there, don't give up on the forum.

In mine, it's a battery thing.

In mine, adding an external charger didn't help.

In mine, there is no parasitic draw.

By process of elimination, I say the stock battery is a cheap-O.

It's ok. I can remedy that.

Not so. Both my 22 Corsair as well as my 23 Maverick came with agm batteries. Both vehicles got new agm batteries from the dealer as Both original batteries wouldn't hold a charge.

24 hybrid with ~700 miles and just started experiencing consistent deep sleep as well. Guess it’s time to try a new battery.

On one hand I am, admittedly, hard on the battery with frequent <20 mile trips and a hardwired rear view mirror and dash cam adding load. On the other ford shouldn’t be such cheapasses with their OEM battery combined with what seems like a high natural parasitic load…

I’ve seen some mention of Forscan settings possibly being the culprit. Has anyone confirmed a ā€˜digital’ solution before replacing the battery itself?

I took it in and the service agent said I could leave it there for 10 days with no replacement and check it out. Then he said I need to drive it more. He was an idiot. I filed a complaint. He would not do anything since no warning lights. I was so mad having to be there at 7a and they wouldn't do anything
