"Oil change required" alarm message showed up yesterday. Does that count?

Yeah, I check the color right after change, but is it ever NOT overfilled by any shop? The only time I've ever had it NOT overfilled is when I did my own changes. I've done quite a few but I'm done for a while.Check soon AFTER an oil change.
Many reports of over filling.
5.7 ≠ 6 just because you or the guy doing it doesn't want a partial container laying around.
Well, they are called "idiot" lights for a reason....If god had wanted us to check out own oil, she wouldn’t have given us idiot lights.
their bulb grease is gone as well. There definitely seems to be a lot of people who are out of blinker fluid!
They didn't care. I came to that conclusion at a very young age when I watched an attendant spit on my father's windshield to help remove a very stubborn bug. More often than not the bigger dip stick was the attendant and not the one used to check the oil.I always questioned if the time spent getting gas was long enough for the oil to run back down to the bottom end so you get an accurate reading.
Probably is since back in the day it was SOP for gas station attendants to check the oil.
Well, yeah, I would say that's a safe bet."Oil change required" alarm message showed up yesterday. Does that count?
Synthetic blinker fluid prevents it from burning.Check the blinker fluid to especially if you did the recall blinking that fast will burn up the fluid![]()
I have changed it in the last month. Try to to do it every 5 to 6 kWell I did something strange yesterday. Probably something that's rarely done. I mean hell, we've got people driving until the fucker catches fire, driving with their eyes closed and engine noises.
I actually checked the oil level and condition at the gas station. It had been a while, I'll admit and 7000 miles since the last change. The oil looked good, level was good and smell was good. 10,000 (Hybrid) miles 'aint no thing as long as you check your damn oil.
Thumbs up if you've checked your oil in the last month.
Uh-oh! You can’t depend on the idiot light for that. That only indicates when the oil pressure is low.If god had wanted us to check out own oil, she wouldn’t have given us idiot lights.
I had a 73 Ford pinto, used oil so bad the practice was...check the gas and fill it up with oilWell I did something strange yesterday. Probably something that's rarely done. I mean hell, we've got people driving until the fucker catches fire, driving with their eyes closed and engine noises.
