I doubt in today's environment that any of these chemicals are gonna take you out very soon and I wouldn't be worrying about that. It would most likely be something more catastrophic.

I put a little in me morn cafe, keeps me regular and clean!

Back in the 80s when I was a teen learning to do basic maintenance on our cars, have to admit we used to dump the old oil in the woods behind the house. I'm sure we weren't the only ones, people didn't know better back then.

Your local dump should have services for disposal.

I believe it's the law in many states that any shop that does oil changes HAS to accept used oil.

Some used motor oil is used for ship fuel. Those turbine engines will burn just about anything.
