Is there a way to log DIY oil changes in the Ford app for maintenance purposes instead of just manual recording in the book too?

You can do it on the website for Ford owners.

So there's been lots of discussion on various threads about Ford removing the ability to add a service record on the app, but I just resolved a related issue and wanted to share. I was able to add a service record from my online account (via my computer) on 7/18/2024 without issue.

I did my 1000 mile oil change last weekend and tried to add a service record on 8/3/2024 (again, online account via computer), and it kept returning an error message "Oops. Unable to add your record, please refresh and try again later" or something like that. I tried it again on a couple different days and received the same message.

I called Ford and got transferred around until I finally reached someone on the Ford Pass team. She asked me to try to add the record through my online account, but this time try using my PHONE instead of computer. It worked!

Not sure if this is a universal problem or just a weird glitch affecting me, but if you receive an error message when trying to add a service record on your computer, try it on a mobile browser (again, online account NOT app). Google chrome on my macbook computer did not work, but google chrome on my iPhone did work. Hope this helps somebody avoid a little frustration.

I'm about to do my first oil change. This is my first new car as well. I was able to login to Ford.com and add my annual safety inspection but can't find where I can upload receipts. This apparently used to be a thing, but no more. Anyone have success added receipts to their DIY oil service?
