For 79 dollars and some change, I get "the works" program done at my dealer, including full synthetic. Why would I want to go to all the trouble of changing my own oil when they can do it for that price?
It all depends on your perspective, I suppose. Why would I want to go to the trouble of making an appointment and waiting to have my oil changed, when I can do it myself at home in 30 minutes, use the full synthetic oil of my choice, be sure the job is done right, and spend less than half of what you're spending? Before you ask, yes, I've experienced dealerships not doing the job right.
