Jeepers ….$150 oil change???

Last year I decided to try full synthetic, it was $100, I thought that was high. Well lets see if I get more mileage out of it, not really I was getting 4000 miles from semi-synthetic, & got 4500 miles from full synthetic, so I switched back to semi for the change a couple weeks ago & it was $50, will stick with that. Oh & I did try the new double big mac last week, it was $6.59 plus tax where I live, can't imagine anyone paying $16 for one.

I called Frontier Ford and asked them for the price and they said $280.00 for "the works". I thought my dealer, Sunnyvale Ford was high at $180.00 for the same services but they look like a bargain compared to Frontier.

Yes we all should be using either USD or CAD when talking prices.

Free at my dealer. My CT dealership threw in oil changes for life. They'd try to upsell you on tire rotations and stuff, but you just had to say "no" and you had new oil as often as 3,000 miles. I think they still do it. Keeps customers coming back.

My smart wifey paid $115 dollar for her CRV hybrid. But, once she sees that I am doing it on my maverick, she will let me do on her CRV now.

Well when your hourly rate is $200 I can see how a dealer can end up charging $100-$150 for a simple oil change. Just another reason to DIY or at least find a independent small shop.

You think that's bad. I have an AWD FX4 and had the transmission and differential fluid serviced @ 32k miles and they charged me $635. I only let them do it because I wanted to make sure if I had a problem before my 6/60k warranty runs out that they didn't say I had used the wrong fluids
and they also had to do 4 recalls.
They sent me a follow up survey and I told them they will never touch my truck again except for warranty work. I have my own shop with a lift. They don't call them stealerships for nothing

Paid $65 at Ford Country in Lewisville. Did it when getting recall work done so they may have cut me a deal.

I recently had my 3rd oil change at Caruso Ford in Long Beach, CA. Them bastards jacked up the price on me. It has gone up to $57.93 from previous price of $53.87...
