From an American who actually read and understands this is a Canada price thread...

Ford Maverick Oil change cost - Canada kevinmcgarry-nathangrant

Would help having it in the title though. This website doesn't display the location of said threads very well and most people just click the "most recent" thread sections then don't actually read anything, on top of using back buttons to navigate as well as most being mobile. The "Canada" sub forum is not in very big obvious lettering, but the title is.

@Haggs I'd change the title to "Canadian oil change cost" to avoid what we've seen here for the past 4 pages, or at least try to.

I just did my 2nd Maverick Oil/filter change for $40 US.
I’ll be doing my own as well from here on.
it was 2 hours from the time I left the house until I got back. That’s with an appointment. I’m sure I can beat that time.

I am not ready for an Oil Change yet but I started my research. Ford Dealer wants $100 for Semi-Synthetic and $200 for Full Synthetic Oil. Canadian Tire wants $98 for Full Synthetic Oil and that includes an upcharge for a better quality filter that is recommended for use with Full-Synthetic Oil. It will cost me $68 dollars for the Full Synthetic Oil and at least $20 for the filter if I wanted to do it on my own.

Just got my first oil change done at a Ford dealer. I only have 1200 km on it, but have always done this for my new vehicles. The kicker is for semi-synthetic (which they told me is what comes in them from the factory), set me back $180.00.
Anyone else want to share their experiences?
That seems high even for full synthetic, much less partial. Did you get wipers or anything else? The works is $79😲

Any idea how I can change the subject title?

Checking the part numbers, mine actually was full synthetic. I put full synthetic in my Ram and it’s only $130.00 CAD at the dealer.

2022 Hybrid @4979 miles. Was in shop for 3 weeks due to other issues so I had oil changed. Four units of 5w20 synthetic blend @5$US. Dealer called service "THE WORKS". Total was 63.89 in Fordopoly money which included tire rotation. Sweet.!

Nah, you couldn't pay me to live in America. Don't even want to visit. Sorry, I like my beavers, lumber jacks and stuff. Eh. :p
Montana is lower rural Canada tho... It's like how California is upper Mexico.

And I'll give you a pass for leaving out Hockey. We'll just include it in the "stuff" category, but you may cause a Canadian riot if your brethren find out you skipped over it.

(I'm actually planning a ride next year from MT to AK). Lots of good stuff to see up there.

Anyways, enjoy your thread!

Sincerely,
A person of the lower colonies ;)
