Nice looking truck... congratulations! 👍🏼
You made the right decision going with the Lariat. You can't get all the bells and whistles and the overall better look from the Peasant Editions (XL and XLT) models.
Wish you many happy moments in your new truck.
No need to explain, Jeff. I was just being sarcastic. I just like to mess around with eco-guzzler owners because they tend to be very hypersensitive.
Anyways, people should choose whatever they want/like and most importantly, whatever fills their personal needs. It doesn't matter if it's ICE...
You're not the first person I have heard this from. I've read a lot of articles about the crazy insurance costs and doc fees that residents in Florida are being charged.
I also received a notification from my insurance provider (State Farm) that the insurance costs on my Maverick would be going...
It all comes down to someone's needs. The hybrid fits my lifestyle perfectly. Furthermore, the e-cvt in the hybrid is tried and true. I have that same transmission in my Lincoln MKZ Hybrid and it's great. It's going on 160k miles without a single issue.

That's a beautiful looking truck! 👍🏼
You made a wise decision going with a Lariat and not the rental -fleet edition (XL and XLT) models.
Enjoy her ...congrats!
I went with the tried and true Muslogy decor flaps.
The OEM Ford flaps looked too big and square to my eyes.
The good thing is you now have a decent amount of flaps to choose from.
I find this thread insulting.
To compare the beautiful and one-of-a-kind Lariat in the same category as the poverty/peasant editions (XL, XLT), is a slap in the face to Lariat owners.
To be honest, I don't even like reading the Lariat being used in the same sentence with the XL and XLT'...
I almost sold my 23 to get the 24 in the new Terrain color. Glad I didn't 🙏🏼. I later discovered that Ford deleted the heated windshield and built-in keypad from the 2024 model year. There was no way I was going to give that up!
