Can I do my own oil change in Canada without voiding the manufacturers warranty?

According to my dealership, no it won't, but keep all receipts and take pictures of the products, filter install, mileage, oil life before and oil life after (both oil life readings with mileage in the frame). If something happens with your engine and you don't have receipts and proof, they don't have to cover it. I'm doing my own maintenance, but I'm being very prudent in this.

I will get the first oil change done by the dealer ,after that I will be doing it myself . If you purchase the filters and oil from the dealer , it will be on record how many times you have done the service .
