I am not sure what it could be on yours. Are you having the issue only when turning and sharp hits like us eibach guys are/were?
Nothing driving down the road. Just turning slowly into a driveway or turning sharp in a parking lot. I haven’t checked the top hats yet, mainly because I’m running camber bolts and I’m afraid I may need to get another alignment after I take it all apart. I do have them marked though so hopefully I can put them back to the same orientation and my alignment will be unchanged.

Well well well, got the text from my installer and NO MORE NOISE! Of course no more eibach springs either, but changing out the springs fixed the issue. We didn't need the Scale adjustable end links, but I bought them just in case. Along with new strut bearings but there was no wear on my stock ones. He didn't have time to swap the rear springs tonight but he will do that tomorrow night and I will pick it up then.

Still not sure why and what causes the Eibach's to makes these noises on some trucks and not the others, but I am sending mine back for them to run some tests on them. They did get back in touch with me today and were very helpful. So I am sending them my springs back. They are indeed wanting to get to the bottom of the problem. They even asked me if I knew of anyone in Southern Cali who is having this issue because they want to hear what is going on and try to get to the bottom of it. If you are in Southern Cali DM me and I will forward you the contact info for someone at eibach, he is most polite and willing to help! I do think it has something to do with the coils being compressed in the middle and not at the top like the HRs. But I am not qualified to make that call.
Sheesh...looks like I gotta order some HR's now! And gotta contact eibach about these faulty springs...

I also have the Eibach lowering springs. I’ve put about 300 miles on them.
I haven’t had any noise coming from the springs, but I did peek under the car today to check and make sure everything looked as it should.
I found the lower isolator for the rear spring looks a bit tweaked. In fact the spring also doesn’t look like it’s sitting right, even though the it’s butted up to the stopper on top and bottom isolators.
Anyone have this issue?

Here is a pic of my rear spring for reference...the rear springs are handed if that helps. For instance this is my driver's side spring hence the RearLeft marking

I had my Eibach lowering springs professionally installed on my hybrid back in January and after 1,800 miles still have the knocking noises at low speeds. I contacted Eibach tech Dave Cortez receiving a case # and suggesting several things to check which I returned to the installer had the springs pulled and photographed which were found to be installed correctly. Photos were forwarded to Eibach. Eibach stated they had received similar complaints and that they were expecting to inspect a local customer with the same problem in CA and get back in touch with me. That was two months ago and several phone messages left which have not been returned. Apparently Eibach is aware of a problem that they are not interested providing a solution to the customers experiencing the annoying clunking noises. The word needs to go out to Maverick owners that want to lower their trucks to consider another manufacturer. Let's spread the news until we have answers. Strength in numbers!!

The H&R's did fix my truck with nothing else, just swapping the springs. Eibach is aware of the problem believe me, my installer and I have been talking to them for a couple of days and sending them pics. I can't answer as to why some trucks with Eibach's have the issue and some don't, it is one of life's mysteries. But I can say the "progressive" part of the front Eibach spring is in the middle where as most drop springs have it at the top or bottom. This is why the springs collapse onto each other and they have that lil plastic sleeve installed on theirs. Making them not as stiff as other drop springs.

My installer did just call me and he has mine done now and said it is a "tad" stiffer than it was with the Eibach's. They are issuing me a call tag for my springs and I am sending them back so they can test them on a press, I assume to try and figure out the spring rate? It feels like to me and my installer that the spring rate is wrong for this particular truck and we have both expressed that to them. They did have someone from Southern California coming in to diagnose theirs but the person never showed up. So they haven't put their hands/ears on a truck with this issue. I think they will figure it out, but they need more R&D on the springs for this particular truck. If someone in the area or close to the area wants to take their truck in, message me and I will pass along the contact info.

I have mine sitting in a box still due to this. Hoping they would get on this issue quickly but it appears they are still dragging their feet. In limbo on sending them back and going H&R. This sucks as I would like to lower my truck but I guess I will be waiting.

Thanks for your hard work to try and figure this out, if Eibach was being as proactive as you have been their R&D team may have figure the problem out already.

My recommendation is starting posting all over their social media to grab their attention. I posted on their facebook page.

From what I have seen and read I think the front springs are the same for both, I am not 100% sure on that though. If someone has the FWD and wants to take a pic of the part number on their springs I will take a pic of mine this evening and post it up and we can see if they match.

is it just me, or mine look a tad bit crooked compared to yours? I put them in the correct orientation (RL on driver side & RR on passenger).
Trying to figure out why mine look like this lol

That would be a problem if that's the case. 180 lbs different in curb weights, add in other factors like driver weight for instance and you have a recipe for issues.

This is unfortunate to hear. I never opened my box since the 1st week they were released. I wonder if they'll take returns.

Yours do look crooked. It's not just you. Not sure why, but they are. I don't know what happened there.

I can confirm that the springs for the FWD and AWD are the same for the front. According to the directions on Eibach's website and the pics I took of my AWD springs.

Yeah I was thinking the same exact thing. But, eibach is going to receive my springs back and do some tests. Fortunately I have been in contact with the right person there and they are eager to get to the bottom of it.

If they can send me the kit for FWD Hybrid, I can test it out and see if there are any issues with noise on my Maverick :D. I'm about 45 minutes away from them lol.

Glad to hear the H&Rs are working out so far. Hope they stay that way. Thanks for posting photos. It really helps visualize this whole thing and allows others to chime in and compare with their own setups.

Anyone know if H&R is coming out with springs for the FWD??
