  2. H&R Super Sport Lowering Springs installed on Maverick XL Ecoboost AWD -- photos

Rustoleum gloss black spray paint. Surprisingly they still look good. I wax the wheels every once in a while when I wash the truck and theyā€™re holding up nicely.

Any idea what the part number is on the fx4 evap plate?
  4. Fog lights installed!

Yellowā€™s are sae fog and whites are sae driving.
  5. Blow off valve

If you have the spacer type ā€œBov adaptorā€ all you need to do is remove it in order to return to stock. These are essentially an aluminum spacer that gets installed under the stock recirculation valve. If this is what you have, and you go back to stock you will likely need to source stock length...

How is the light output of the headlights affected? Notice a big difference?
  7. Protection skids / rock sliders for Off-roading and Desert Crawling?

Not sure, I donā€™t have this but I assume so. It says fits 2.0l eco boost.
  8. Montana's Maverick - '22 Lariat Lux FX4 4K EB

Nice load out! I am slowly building my tool set and supplies under the back seat. What kind of fire extinguisher do you have in the door? I currently have a bigger one rolling around on the floor behind my passenger seat, like the idea of having a couple smaller ones in the doors.
  9. hauling or towing with a lowered setup ?

I have H&R super sports on my awd xl. The most weight I have hauled was my atv plus some wood ramps so probably 450ish lbs in the bed plus about 100 lbs of gear in the back seat. I did a 600 mile round trip like this and while it did have a slight ā€œsquatā€ with the extra weight it drove great. No...
  10. Raining inside?

Does your truck have a sunroof? My dadā€™s dodge had water accumulating in the same place due to plugged/overflowing sunroof drains. Not sure if this applies to the maverick but might be worth a look.
  11. Looking for more performance and sound from 2.0 EcoBoost

I made my own intake with a 45 degree aluminum pipe and AEM dry flow filter. No clue if it helps performance, but I can hear the turbo now and thatā€™s what I was after lol. Intake temps are slightly higher than the stock box but not by much.
  12. BAP Taillights

Zepā€™d mine and added Lasfit bulbs. Light output will be reduced with stock bulbs
  13. Did they move the PCV on the '23s?

I had a hard time finding it too. I was reaching too low, itā€™s higher up than youā€™d think. Try sticking your phone down there and taking a video, should give you a better idea of where it is.

  15. VIDEO: The Right Oil and Change Interval for 2.0 EcoBoost

Just had my first oil change done at the dealership (free) at 2400 miles. For whatever reason the sticker they put on says next oil change at 7400 miles, even though the service advisor told me itā€™s a 10k interval. Iā€™ll be doing it myself at every 5k from here on out.
  16. EB 2.0 Transmission whine at certain speeds

Did you ever figure out your whining noise? I just noticed a slight whine on deceleration around 10-15 mph. Might be normal I just never noticed it before. Itā€™s Pretty quiet I can only hear it with windows down.
  17. Connectors for "Clean Side" Oil Catch Can

For sure, the more info the better. I think I read every catch can thread on this site and countless YouTube videos trying to figure this out. Iā€™m sure you can accomplish the same thing with cheaper cans but I bought a $40 Amazon can and was not confident that the media would stay together...
  18. Connectors for "Clean Side" Oil Catch Can

Itā€™s a pricey setup for sure. I think I paid around 320 for it back in January plus all the fittings. I was close to buying the Buschur can but at $280 for just the clean side it would have wound up being more expensive to get both clean and dirty side set up. I was hoping to see more in the...
  19. Connectors for "Clean Side" Oil Catch Can

Iā€™m not 100% on the conversion between AN and inches. I used a 3/8ā€ inside diameter hose for the dirty side. And it was difficult to get the fittings in. I put some oil on the fittings and it was still pretty hard to get them in. It took a lot of twisting and pushing to get them on. For the...
