My 2025 Maverick Hybrid 4k row & AWD has had zero issues and overall 42.5 MPG. Now has 4,800 miles and I totally enjoy this truck. I had F350 DRW and many F150-s , would buy a Maverick again.

I have for the most part loved having my 22, the recalls are a little bothersome, but hey, Ford has fixed them all, so as long as they do...I am ok. 13,161 miles so far, fun truck to drive, and can't complain about the gas mileage, the biggest reason I bought, plus the price at the time was fantastic.

I don't want to be rude.
Would you mind sharing, how much the cost of installing the sliding window was?
Thank you,
GB
Good question, it is one of the few things that I think would have been useful that I couldn't get is the sliding rear glass. I find it does a great job sucking the hot air out of a cab and equalizing air pressure when I open windows. My HD truck doesn't have it either. Same issue they don't offer it on all trim levels. Just stinks. If there is an option to maybe add my own after the fact I may consider it.

I almost bought a Maverick about a month or so ago to replace my 2004 Ranger (handing it down to my kid, what a champ the Ranger's been) when, on the way to the dealer, I received a call that a Stop Sale had been implemented and my wife and I had to turn around and go home empty-handed (I had already driven one previously but hated the stock interior). After sitting on it for a week, I decided to just go ahead and order one from a dealer closer to me with everything I wanted and nothing I didn't (Eruption Green XLT, Ecoboost, Black Appearance Package, Luxury Package, Spray-In Liner). Got the employee pricing, so we're sitting at $34,500 (this includes delivery/destination) plus registration, doc fee, etc. Since then, all I've had time to do is more research. Here, Reddit, YouTube, etc. The Maverick looks like everything I want, but the constant recalls and issues- leaks, battery drain, CLIPS even, etc. - have me a bit spooked as the build date (week of 6/30) grows ever closer. I have a whole checklist of things to look over and test when the truck is delivered, but that will only tell me so much and can't cover everything. You all have so much knowledge and experience. Are you happy with the purchase? Would you get one again? Would you recommend it to your friends and family? Are the stock speakers THAT bad? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
i ordered my first edition maverick on the second day you could order in 2021,never sat in one or seen one except pictures. got it in december 2021 & have loved it ever since only have 11,000 miles on it becouse i also have a 2000 ranger that i also love to drive. i bought the extended warranty for the maverick becouse of my age (73) & have slowed down on vehicle work. the only thing the maverick has been in the shop for was the first oil change (i change it now).i really think if you get the maverick with everything you want you will love it.i bought mine as a nice little car with a small bed. if your wanting a truck better get a truck . i love my maverick and have had no issues with speakers or anything ,i’m changing the factory dot bed cover for a hard one (it has no problems just don’t like it) & i’m adding a mirror with homelink .

Our xlt is 3 years old, 32,000 miles.no issues other than 2 software recalls. Oil changed every 5000 miles, tires never rotated and all worn evenly and work good in snow. We think the stock speakers sound great.

The stock speakers are actually pretty good. I had high end speakers in my last two vehicles and I like the speakers that came in my XLT.

Both my Rangers and my Ford Sport Trac had rear windows that opened.
I didn't get any of the wind pressure drumming when I would lower my driver's window if they were open.
Same applied for the vent position of my sunroof in my Buick Encore.

Is that the one through Granger? I've been eyeing that as well once I'm satisfied with the purchase and thinking long term.
Granger is the way to go. No dealer is willing to match them, (not sure what Flood charges)

Sounds like a good price to me. In 2022 I ordered a Ecoboost XLT, AWD with Towing package. Destination fees, taxes, spray-in bediner, Zurich paint & interior protection, rustproofing, undercoating for approximately $35,000.

It's been great for us. Family vehicle with great MPG, tons of cargo hauling, comfortable on long trips. 2 years. Super happy.

I have a 2023 Lariat Eb It has 40,000 miles on it and has not had any issues I will say that it has had 2 recalls. taillight and seatbelt. neither were an inconvenience as they were done at the time of when an oil change was performed. Most of the recall issues and problems seem to be with the hybrid and yours is the eb

I would have purchased the Ridgeline, if it fit in my garage and if it wasn't several thousand dollars more. I am glad I got the Maverick Hybrid, and am averaging 41mpg. I have a shade over 3000 miles on my 2024 XLT.
I cannot buy pleather (polyurethane) covered seats as I have a sensitivity to any and all fake leathers. I also, like the sport cloth materials used in today's vehicles, It breathes, feels comfortable, and is easy to clean. So the Lariat version is out with me.
Why not look for a new leftover 2024 or a slightly used 2024. With over a half million Mavericks produced, Ford has gotten most of the bugs out. The back up camera recall was fixed in my driveway in about 15 minutes.
I was also between a Ridgeline and the Maverick when looking last year. The ridgeline had a much better interior and the speakers in the tailgate and the built in cooler really appealed to my tailgating side. But it wouldn’t fit in my garage and that was a deal killer. I ended up getting a 24 xlt lux tremor. Couldn’t justify the lariat cost over what I got.
