They had done the front axels first. No change in Vibration. Then the PTU, no change then the driveshaft. The U-Joints were gritty as hell. That fixed my vibration. Then 1000 miles later shes back in for the passenger half shaft.
So I brought my 2024 Lariat Ecoboost FX4 4K tow in for vibration (45,230 miles) They replaced the front axels, the PTU and the rear driveshaft. that was 1K miles ago. Just went back in because the passenger front axel has already failed. Clicking while turning LEFT. I dont know if I blame...
I took mine in (Southern IL) (2024 Lariat FX4 4K tow) FORD replaced the rear Driveshaft and front CV axels. Oh, and the PTU.
That fixed my issues as you described. The dealer had it for about 2 Months. Finally figured it out. Mine was the PTU to RDU driveshaft. The U Joints were really...
My 2024 Ecoboost with 49,000 miles look just like @Glen Baker LLC .
I do have a little shimmy in the steering wheel. But I attribute that to the Mechanic at FORD with Greasy fingers when he replaced the front CV Axels under warranty. Ill live with it until I need to replace the pads and...
Well, yes. I know; I assumed everyone owns one. And Yes I know what ASS U ME means. My Bad. I guess if you dont have a laptop yur sort of SOL. And a 100.00 device to get rid of start stop is cheaper. But honestly just getting rid of the HONK HONK with the key on my pocket and truck running...
Just use FORSCAN. No hardware required. Easy to do and the cost of the dongle for programing is about the same cost. And you can get rid of a LOT of other annoying things as well. All for the same price or less.
I as well Suggest Granger Ford. No hassle no runaround, they are one of the cheapest for the OEM Ford Extended warranty if NOT the CHEAPEST for said warranty. AND they usually run 3% off MSRP...
If it just started I would pull the cabin air filter and see if something left an acorn in there for you. Ask how I know. Varmints ........ It was not a big one but it was enough to rattle in the housing and drive me nuts. Literally.
OP has a 2026. That was the issue. 2025 is supported but their experience was that it said their 2026 was not able to determine vehicle.
I have not bought a license since 2023. But if anyone has; toss the OP a bone and ask the forscan mods what they all need to get a 2026 supported?
If you are a paying customer; reach out to the FORSCAN team https://forscan.org They have a FAQ there that will guide you on how to request assistance like this.. I do believe that they will request a few files; but the team is usually very responsive. I do not believe that they monitor this...
A couple of the complaints would be mitigated if you had purchased a Lariat. Leatherette seating and the wireless charger are just 2 things; oh and the Drivers power seat. But I digress. Apples to Oranges. I too own a 2024 Edge Titanium and a 2024 Maverick lariat. Owning the 2 vehicles; I...
If I had a 2023 or 2022 I would offer to buy these from you.
For the OEM look, I would just use flat black (exterior Grade) Vinyl. That is basically what is on my truck. I mean granted; it has a texture to it.
My wifes edge did this. Come to find out the hood latch switch (that says the hood is closed) went bad. Once replaced it works wonderfully.
If that is bad remote start will not work. It thinks the hood is open, (its a safety feature)
