I have had many 3 to 20 mile city trip at around 35-40 mph that average 60 to 85 MPG in my 2025 Maverick Hybrid Lariat AWD 4K. Overall day one till current 18,000 miles is 41 MPG 90 City 10 highway @ 60 MPH.

My family owns 3 hybrids currently. Over the past 20 years we also owned 2 more hybrid cars for a total of 5. My wife's 2024 CRV-Hybrid AWD and my 2025 Maverick Hybrid AWD 4K have been excellent. Zero regrets and would do the same again.

If you find your rattle-buzz please post what you found. My does the same rattle but only when outside temperatures are around 50-65 degrees [spring & fall].

My keypad is installed just above the Lariat logo on the driver's fender. Did not think about on the tailgate, good idea!

My stick-on entry key pad for my 2025 Maverick Hybrid Lariat would not work till the Ford dealership enabled the function. In my case you could not get passed first base without paying the dealership.

Odd all but the Seatbelt lamp recall have been completed OTA on my 2026 Hybrid 4K AWD.

I would not go beyond 50% of tow rating. Once you add some water, black & gray tank levels and some camping gear your adding 1,000 - 1,500 or pounds to the trailer mfg sticker weight. Also some TT mfg are not clear on the weight of trailer add-ons like AC, TVs and electric jack's.

Seems like mud & salt traps to me to cause rust.

I towed with my Hybrid AWD 4K setup 1500# to 3,000# offen. If I need to tow over 4K# will just rent a larger truck for the job. After 10 months still have not need to rent a truck.

The slot is for your driver license or credit card. Only holds one card.

Did you try adjusting the top black latch bolt that the cable is attached?

All but one of .my 2026 Maverick Hybrid 4K AWD calls have been do OTA at night for free.

Just put the maintenance payment in your personal bank account to cover repairs if an as needed. No hidden items not covered and it's your money to spend or save long-term. I never buy extended warranties on anything and over 40 years I am way ahead.

I have use old style rubber-rope plugs for years with no issues. This new screw in plug are never getting near my tires. Cannot understand how you could get them installed the complete length of the hole in the tire. The rubber-rope are easy to install with material inside and outside the tire...

Hybrid 4K AWD again 100% no question..

My 2025 Maverick Hybrid 4K AWD sweet spot for best MPG is ECO on and between 40 to 60 MPG. Below 60 MPH I get 42+ MPG, about 65 MPH drops to 36-38 MPG.
