Is this a good place to stick the add-on keypad?

I'm going to call myself an idiot.
thank you for pointing that out!
If you want it hidden do like most others have done and tuck it away behind the fuel cap.

Yes there is no gas cap button in the cab, just press it from outside and the cover opens.
Looks like that isn't true for the hybrid... Or maybe it's lariat. Good idea though!

Joe,
Only the Maverick hybrid has a pressurized fuel tank.
It does not matter the trim level.
That is why you have to push the button inside the the truck. To depressurize the tank and release the flap.

Note some versions have horizontal numerals and some have vertical numerals.
I can't find Ford Brand OEM wireless vertical ones, that mount on the b-pillar.
I can only find the horizontal numbers.
I also work did not realize, that there was a difference between keypads for trucks with remote start fob and the regular fob.

I must have missed something. VERY possible. But, why add the keypad? have had my 2023 Lariat since July of last year. I have NEVER used the keypad. I don't even notice it anymore. If you don't have the fob, the truck won't start. If you leave the fob in the truck, it will pester you.
Under what condition would you need one?

When I take my dog to the beach river / lake and there are people around, I don't like burying my wallet and my keys in the sand.
I keep my wallet and keys safety locked in the truck when I go out with the ATV too.
Once I leave the house there's no internet, so Ford Pass is not going to work. There are times that I have to lock the the keys in the truck to keep the air conditioner running for my dog
If I want to get something out of the truck and it's out by the shed and I forget my keys in the house.
No need to go back. I just use the keypad
Just a few that apply to me.
Missed it on my GM's, Ram and Toyota.
I don't use it a whole lot but,
I'm glad I have it on my trucks.
