For those of you who have it, is it worth it even if you don't tow?

Thank you for the reply! Yes I'm torn between getting the 4k or saving some money and not on a 2026 Ecoboost. I know I will never tie anything, but the cooling and transmission concerns give me pause.I can tell you that it's absolutely worth it for 2022-2024 model years on the Ecoboost. I can't speak for newer ones, as it appears that Ford has dropped the auxiliary air to oil transmission cooler.
I think it is because it upgrades the engine and transmission cooling. It adds resale value down the line as well. You cannot readily add all of the components for the 4K tow later. It can be done but will cost more than having the optional items it comes with built in at the factory. For those of you who have it, is it worth it even if you don't tow?
Honestly, for newer model Mavericks I would probably opt for a Hybrid unless there was a package I wanted/needed that was only available on the Ecoboost. For instance, the FX4 package...Thank you for the reply! Yes I'm torn between getting the 4k or saving some money and not on a 2026 Ecoboost. If you were already going to get AWD and CoPilot360, then sure since it's only an extra $745 on top. But if you were deciding between, say, a FWD and one with 4K tow, you're now adding $2,540 to $3,760 to the cost because 4K tow requires AWD and CoPilot360. I'd say that's solidly not worth it if FWD works for you.For those of you who have it, is it worth it even if you don't tow?
Oh I willIf you have 100% certainty you will never tow, don't waste your money, if you are on a tight budget.
