I found a 2025 with 4k on it and everything I want with 143 miles on it. The only issue is that it's a dealer loaner that was activated on December 2025, so it's lost 6 months of warranty. Has anyone had experience buying loaner vehicles?

Yea I kind of figured ;). The build and price came to 36,616. So after taxes 39k+.

The price would probably be equal or slightly more from the factory based on my estimation. The bigger issue is that wait time since I currently don't have a vehicle.

I know! So from what I can gather, the 4k towing is still beneficial for better transmission cooling because of the bigger radiator and cooling fan for daily driving compared to a non 4k even without the auxillary transmission oil cooler?

Ahh that sounds like a fun truck! But doesn't solve the transmission cooling ;( You'd think with a performance truck, better transmission cooling would be considered.

Hmm it seems like the lobos are comparable priced to the fully loaded standard XLTs depending on color. Is the extra cooling in the lobo and adequate alternative to the 4k cooling if that's all I care about?

I guess the bigger question is how much does the extra cooling on the 4k matter? I live in PHX AZ area so it's obviously very hot. Also considering heat in the equation of whether to get a hybrid or EB.
