☝ This.
The fact that your idiotic lazy dealer didn't fix it like they were supposed to, the first time you took it in, is entirely their fault. You are very fortunate it died in your driveway and not out in the middle of nowhere.
Thanks. Exactly how I felt. The Mav could have spent the weekend (it died on a Friday nite; dealer service didn't open until Monday) in bad circumstances.
I see now that there was plenty of posts on this forum about the issue. Wondering why searching it using dozens of variations of the words dead/battery/power loss/etc didn't send me to them.

If I am reading all of this correct, this issue was fixed and should not effect factory orders built in June of this year. (2023)

I haven't found any posts here that closely replicate the total power loss issue I experienced, so can y'all point me in the right direction and help me understand what's happening? See my Mav details in the signature. It has 6500 miles on it.
Sorry to hear about your problem, best wishes for a expedited resolution.

This is a well known issue and one I could never get resolved.

I have a dead hybrid, 2022. I have had 3 roadside assistances in the last 6 days. VERY unimpressed with Ford support, was quoted as much as November date for service. I have found a dealer 6.5 hours from home that found a recall associated with the wiring harness. They ordered the parts, I sure hope they are not on backorder but I gotta get this fixed, I am in the middle of a move over the next 30 days of 753 miles. NO Loaner allowed I have been told from both dealers and Ford. Gas mileage has been awesome but will look into going back to Honda Ridgeline once I get this fixed. I live in smaller towns so cant have a Fixed on road daily vehicle. If anyone has a suggestion on how to get this fixed correctly and promptly please advise.

We had exactly the same issue as you and many other hybrid owners have experienced. The 22B39 recall was performed recently and it solved the issue but instead of losing all power the moment we turned the ignition off, we are now having that situation occur about an hour after shutdown. By that point the underseat battery is registering only about 5+, so I suspect we have a bad battery after the dozens and dozens of jumps that we performed on this one. I plan to bite the bullet and buy a non-Motorcraft battery since I have had three Motorcraft ones in the truck over the last year that Ford replaced each time. Two were defective and now this one is likely dead from overcharging, so I have lost faith in Motorcraft from a battery standpoint. Regardless I'll pay the money and get one that hopefully will work now that the recall has been performed.

Had the wiring harness recall performed recently. Took almost three weeks for the dealership to receive the part from Ford. They kept me updated constantly and did the work the day they received it. Sorry I don't have better news but that was my situation this month.

...now I await my '24 hybrid with trepidation, hoping the issues mentioned here have been solved and the wiring harness or whatever updated parts are installed on mine, scheduled build with VIN, for the week of October 16, 2024. My '22 2.0 EB pictured has been trouble-free with a high level of fahrvergnugen.

Longer than that. March 2022 is supposedly when the design was corrected.

Lol, “Fahrvergnugen”. I remember those commercials from decades ago! Wasn’t it a VW campaign?

Well, my dealer says they should have the CSP 22B39 parts this week (same week that the Mav was towed to them) and I should have the Mav back by this coming Monday. We'll see.

Earlier this year, I had all sorts of electrical issues (no intelligent access, no interior lighting, radio going on and off). The dealer determined that my factory original battery was bad. It was replaced under warranty and those electrical issues have ended.

Dang. Did you jump start using under hood pins and not on battery. In any case has dealer checked BMS on negative 12v terminal? I Lso would be leaning towards aftermarket battery also but am reluctant to get away from dealer warranty issues???

RE: "Wasn't it a VW..." Indeed it was! I always felt the word was very descriptive and useful for those of us who think of our motor vehicles as more than transportation. My wife does not think in terms of Fahrvergnugen. When I asked her how she liked her [then new] Lexus, she said "it gets me there and back. That's all I care about".

I have always jumped using the underhood connections, never the battery itself, using my handheld battery charger. And using an aftermarket battery should have no bearing on the warranty.
