Well everything is all good, spent 3hrs at my dealer and changed the Maverick to Carbinized gray and then talked about the Ranger, drove a 2020 and put in a new order for the Ranger sport, red FX4, 7500lbs tow package and some other goodies. Rolled my 1000 dollars from the Maverick to the Ranger. So good luck everyone and hope you all get your Mavericks this model year.
So you changed the color on the Mav order then rolled your $1000 deposit on the Mav to a Ranger?? Sooooo………..you are not getting a Mav at all correct?

I can't stomach the Navy Pier main interior color with HPR, RR, or CO. All the other colors match or complement it.

I felt this way about the Cyber Orange at first. Especially with the Lariat interior. I held my nose and ordered it anyway. But after getting the truck and seeing it in person, it actually works way better than I imagined. I actually like it now. Or I have a classic case of Stockholm Syndrome.

My order a long time ago was originally Cyber Orange. Then I saw how much blue was in the interior, and quickly changed to A51. I would have LOVED a dark grey or black interior on Lariat with tan seats. So much classier.

Ford may have been better to drop the color names on some of these paint colors. Kinda like Area 51. They just left it "Area 51" not Area 51 Blue. I think Hot Pepper is fine. It doesn't have to have the red on the end. Being just Area 51 hasn't hurt sales. It's the most popular color.

Also, Cyber Orange. Most people don't buy it's orange. Not online. Not in person. Cyber is fine. Or Cyber Burst. Or Sunburst. Or Starburst. Or they could have called it Sunset. Or anything, really.

Originally ordered Velocity Blue because it was non added charge color and did not want white, black, grey or silver. In peaking at the colors liked the ultra blue much better than the VB but saw it was an upcharge color and went on through the color palette. When I told my wife that had ordered the Maverick, she said blue, your car is blue. She liked the HPR, which also like and decided to change the color as it was good to get her on board. Seen some pictures and do like how it seems to look more orange or bright red depending on the light. Green is my favorite color, but is not offered. Ift bumped to MY23 and green is offered, will probably stay with the metallic HPR.

Must suck to be color blind ;)
Yeah, that was sorta my thought as well? On my MacBook Air's screen, it looks like a tomato red in almost all the pics. Unless my GPU is fried from too many years of doing 3D rendering and stuff that a MacBook Air really wasn't designed for.

Do we have paint mixing codes for HPR, though? From looking at a couple of pictures where it was , it looks like some kind of subsurface scattering issue. It's almost like it's got a red undercoat and some kind of yellowish topcoat that makes it orange in some light.
Aw, cmon now. I don't know why Longhorns and Aggies don't get along better when they have so much in common. For example, both applied to UT.
Only reason I applied to both was one of my scholarships wanted me to be accepted to more than just my first choice school.

I talked to my salesman today because I am kicking around about adding CP360 to my XLT and possibly kicking around the idea of moving up to a Ranger since my Maverick is about in Ranger price anyway. So he was telling me he doesn't know if I can make a change since the order banks are closed, he said he would have to talk to the manager and I might have to wait and redo my order for MY23 to change. So that would bring me to my next point and this is the first time I have seen this hot pepper red in person on this Ranger, and all I can say is OH HELLL NO! I was expecting more red then burnt orange, expectations totally destroyed! So disappointed I can't get a red Maverick. So I am hoping I can still make color change at least.
I think it looks sporty!
