Hot Pepper Red Maverick Paint cost Ouch

I had some paint mixed for another project at the local PPG dealer. While I was there I asked about the paint cost for my pickup. The red base coat is about $2200 a gallon . The mid coat tinted clear was $1100 and the final clear was $ 880. OUCH
