There was a PHEV spotted on the track that one time.
That having been said, I'm seeing a number of fleet Mavericks in my area, most of them with some kind of graphics. So there's a fleet market if nothing else.
Good luck. The only Hyundai dealership within a reasonable distance, charges a hefty ADM. So I'm better off just waiting on the Maverick I've already ordered.
Honestly, "ethanol free" isn't going to keep a small engine shop from voiding the warranty. They'll find something else, like the gas/oil mix being off by a drop or two, or you used bass boat oil instead of the exact brand that's on their shelves that they didn't bother to tell you to buy.
Honestly, I'm getting an EcoBoost FWD mostly because I need to replace a worn- out Jeep and 30 MPG is better than 16 MPG. Hybrid would've been nice, but I'd rather get mine sooner than later.
So I got an XL with zero constraints barring the global XL one (and I think that shouldn't be too big...
Personally, the Maverick is a good enough truck that I'd have taken possession. Deep Sleep can be fixed. Just a matter of the dealership having enough time to disassemble it and get the solder joint done right.
Dunno for the hybrid. That stuff is cybertron technology.
As for the other EcoBoosts, I strongly doubt there'd be all that much difference in the mounting for the radiators. Only complication I can imagine is if the 4k radiator doesn't have a mini- cooler for the trans slung underneath it. And...
What's weird is the how Ute- ish vehicles flat wouldn't sell in the US before the Maverick and Santa Cruz. GM had that problem with the Escalade Pickup/Avalanche, Subaru with the Baja, and from what I gather Toyota was having the same problems with the Ridgeline. For whatever reason, we just...
Right, but again that's pomelos to oranges. I'm talking about taking an FWD EcoBoost and upgrading it so it can make the most out of its 2k tow cap, or even just do better on long road trips. Not trying to aftermarket a 4k (which is impossible on a Maverick).
Unlike seemingly 99% of the people...
It was constrained for 2022 orders, late during the build cycle. The hitch itself wasn't constrained in the list we saw for 2023.
I don't have the invoices in front of me, but every time I've had to have a used truck's transmission rebuilt, adding an expanded trans cooler has only been a...
The usual speculation is that's either a monthly allocation, or they did the "get them to cancel and sell with a markup" too many times and lost allocation. And it also doesn't take into account that regional has extra allocation to slush around.
Kinda stuck hoping regional isn't playing...
Yeah, that's the 12v battery issue. Broken wiring harness connection. And there's no way to run the dual flashers off the high voltage battery.
Can I suggest keeping some safety triangles behind the back seat?
My Jeep Liberty has one, and the headliner is noticeably lower because of it- at least two inches. If that's going to be an issue (like it's sorta become with me), then don't get one. My Maverick isn't going to have one.
On this note specifically, the allocations, the really low numbers we're seeing are making a lot of us think this might be dealer stock allocations and not the number of orders that're actually going to get filled.
I've seen a lot of hand wringing on FB about dealerships getting hundreds of orders and only ten or twenty allocations. And I'm seeing it a bit here as well.
Are they mixing up stock allocations with order allocations? Or are the regions going to be expected to use their allocations to fill...
