Hot pepper red not even close to my expectations!

I have a 21 Rapid Red Ranger and love it. I didn’t like the Race Red.
I have Velocity Blue Mav on order for my wife because we have a white vehicle we’re keeping… So we’re a Red, White and Blue family!!!

I wish they still had Rapid Red for the Ranger, they replaced it with HPR and that really annoys me. I have a 94 F150 that's a Rapid red color, but it is called something else, I think it is really a beautiful color, but as long as I get my Red I am happy lol.

If they would have had a Red or Rapid Red for the Maverick XLT I would have most likely stuck with the Maverick order.

We were in AZ last weekend and test drove a HPR XLT, because that's what we ordered last fall. In the Arizona sun it is Orange, a beautiful Orange, but Orange nonetheless. I expected a deeper color like "Sunset" from our 2015 Escape. When we arrived home, we changed our order to Gray. Just my experience...

I talked to my salesman today because I am kicking around about adding CP360 to my XLT and possibly kicking around the idea of moving up to a Ranger since my Maverick is about in Ranger price anyway. So he was telling me he doesn't know if I can make a change since the order banks are closed, he said he would have to talk to the manager and I might have to wait and redo my order for MY23 to change. So that would bring me to my next point and this is the first time I have seen this hot pepper red in person on this Ranger, and all I can say is OH HELLL NO! I was expecting more red then burnt orange, expectations totally destroyed! So disappointed I can't get a red Maverick. So I am hoping I can still make color change at least.

Gone through denial and saying keeping it. It was my wife's choice of color and seriously thinking of changing it to Alto Blue as love the look in the Clay and Ceramic thread using R1 coating

Not to mention that have a heavy foot and think a bright red vehicle would be picked out of a pack and ticketed. Rather blend in a bit and like to call the Alto Blue midnight blue. Of course it's just the opposite. Deep blue in the sun and black at night.

Yes you right, wish I did my homework on color better. Love the Rapid Red

Ordered lariat 9/21, delivered 3/2,, and love the chili pepper red. The sun changes its color, beautiful.

CG wasn't to my expectations. It looked like a dirty puddle or road slush. I'm sure when the sun hits it, CG looks great though.

I always buy boring but practical white.

For me, I hate red and love orange, so I was so pleased with the color, thus the reason I picked it.
