Good bye mini duty

In all my carefull driving, I couldn't count for the guy behind me that runs into me. At a stop light and he just plowed into me no brakes. Now the search goes on for a replacement "mini duty ll". May order a 25 if I can't find one I like. That's the car that ran into me.

God damn that sucks at least his insurance will pay for it and hopefully cover most of your loss and almost all the cost of a 25. Hopefully you didn't suffer any injuries.

If you do go with a 25 at least you'll get the better sync four along with bigger touch screen and gauge cluster display.

100% knew this was a post about getting rear-ended just by the title. It seems to be the curse of these trucks.

Don't let the insurance short change you on the value of the Maverick. It is one of the highest value retaining vehicles on the market. There is a person on here asking about a dealer that is selling a '22 hybrid with 80,000 miles for more than what I paid for my '22 hybrid new.

My theory is the off center license plate disorients the weak minded. Just kidding but seriously...maybe it is some type of optical illusion caused by the license plate alignment?

I got rear ended too a while back. Fortunately it was a hit just hard enough to leave a license plate screw head imprint in the bumper plastic.

Sampling bias. This is a Maverick forum and thus people are more likely to share their horror stories. Willing to bet the actual rear-end rate is on par with every other vehicle.

My theory is that people drive too close because they want to see if your Maverick is a hybrid or not and Ford made the text too small. That's why they removed the tailgate badges from the 2025 models.
