  1. Does anyone know what this is?

It's the truck's version of "pull my finger". If you do pull it make sure nobody is standing behind the exhaust pipe
  2. SeatDeletes- Hoping to introduce the real me and clear up some of whats been said on here about us

Yeah, don't want to harsh the OP's post but I'd be interested to have another option. What's the breed of your pooch? We have a black lab-american bully mix and she sure looks similar.
  3. Does anyone know what this is?

I tried to find an image to post but now I have to poke my eyes out! Years ago I saw a cartoon about "I finally managed to remove the screw from my belly button" The little character's ass fell off ;-) Glad you didn't pull too hard!
  4. Cheap and Easy Tie Down Solution

I'm using those tie downs on my tailgate. The bottle openers don't play well with my cargo straps, and these types work much better.
  5. 3D print CD player mount

Anybody remember 4 track tapes? When I was a kid I had a 4 track/8 track player. The 4 tracks didn't have a wheel integral to the tape, and the player had one on a shaft that rotated up and supported the tape from the back side. Man I must be old!
  6. ☀️ What’s everyone actually storing behind the Maverick screen?

The thoughtful Ford engineers thought of that - they protected my glasses by making a cubby that was just an inch or so too narrow to carry my glasses case flat. I'd use it if it was functional!
  7. First Recall - Trailer Module- Anyone Else?

Just had mine done this week on my 24, or at least the mobile guy said it was done. Said they had the fix but no code (billing maybe?) till the end of the month so it would not show up on my ford app till then. He told me this after the job was finished and he was ready to leave so I didn't...
  8. Cold vs Warm MPG difference — how big was yours?

What just kills my MPG is short trips with cool down periods long enough to drop the coolant below 120F. Yeah it takes longer to warm up in cold weather, but once it is warm if my driving time is much longer than the worm up time I can still hit MPGs near 50. If I have to make several stops...
  9. California Tesla adapter

The current administration uses renewable energy and electric vehicles as red meat for it's base. It's just a fact. People, such as yourself, can take pot shots at electric vehicles, like post #3, but god forbid anybody mention what is being done to inhibit renewables and line the pockets of...
  10. California Tesla adapter

I guess I should have read your post before we bought our 27 Bolt!
  11. Sunroof Option

I was going to go with a stock XL but found a XLT with extras for a price I could not pass up - Lux package and moon roof basically thrown in. I try to avoid excess sun exposure, but I open it often driving around town on a sunny day. My convertible Maverick!
  12. Ford Midsize EV Truck News: Ford Skunkworks (EVDC) - first ever behind the scenes tour; sneak peek at EV pickup [WARNING: NO POLITICS]

I hear you. I only drove about 4K miles my first 12 months but still had to get rid of the year old oil. At least we have one car now that I'll never have to crawl under and spin a filter!
  13. Very expensive to insure the Maverick

Pemco charges me about that for my Maverick ~ around 750 for 6 months. My wife just got a 2027 bolt, and being an EV I figured insurance would be even higher. It's about $200 less a year. Maybe because a small shot to the back end won't total the car? ;)
  14. Ford Midsize EV Truck News: Ford Skunkworks (EVDC) - first ever behind the scenes tour; sneak peek at EV pickup [WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Charging times are getting shorter and shorter with the newer EVs, but unless you are charging at home and doing lots of local driving the advantages of an EV drop. I saw a post where someone compared the cost of doing a 1200 mile trip in their prius and their EV. Paying for public charging...
  15. Ford Midsize EV Truck News: Ford Skunkworks (EVDC) - first ever behind the scenes tour; sneak peek at EV pickup [WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Yeah, that is marketing for you! They are 2027 cars released in the first few months of 2026. My wife kept telling me I was wrong on the model year because that's next year ;)
  16. Ford Midsize EV Truck News: Ford Skunkworks (EVDC) - first ever behind the scenes tour; sneak peek at EV pickup [WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Brought my wife's 2027 bolt home yesterday. The electric drive feel and plugging it in to the wall when we got home makes me think I will be trading my Maverick in for the new Ford EV truck!
  17. First Recall - Trailer Module- Anyone Else?

I would just check with your dealer first. I was told last Friday that they had the fix for my truck and would do a mobile service. It's possible they forgot I had a 24 but if they did at least it will be their wasted trip, not mine.
  18. towing software recall/update

WTF is the parking brake recall? My dealer said they have the trailer fix ready and will come out and do a mobile repair. No mention of the parking brake on my ford page. Was it something you knew or were informed about beforehand?
  19. Any pictures of 2022 Maverick truck and 90’s Ranger side by side?

Ford made 3 "generations" of rangers the 90's, the last of the first generation (90-92), second generation (93-97) and third generation (98+). Was there a particular one you were interested in? I've got a 91 which I think represents the best looking Rangers they made. I don't have a side by...
  20. Correct board for rear slot?

I just use boards in the three horizontal slots in your picture when I'm hauling with the tailgate in the middle position. I guess not having to pull out your rear divider if it was too tall would be convenient, but it isn't part of my long load carrying setup.
