Glen, please include a "$" in the subject line when you post about something I didn't know I needed. :)

Under $40, less than 40 lbs., no trimming required. Makes it easy to slide stuff in and out of the bed.
Lens Lizard https://lenslizard.com/ offers an easy-to-install alternative: a self-contained battery-operated wireless device that fits behind your license plate.
The manufacturer claims it works for a Maverick... I find that difficult to believe, with the Maverick's license location in the...
With a 54" bed, your Maverick is big enough to drive to the nearest U-Haul. They'll rent you a van with a ramp, straps, blankets, and whatever you need to move all your stuff from Point A to Point B without having to worry about it getting rained on.
I've no idea if my active shutters work or not as it's difficult to see them from inside the truck.
My 2022 Hybrid was supposed to have one or two shutters surgically removed as part of a recall, something about preventing engine fires, but my dealer chose not to and I didn't argue too much.
I wonder what that C-channel thingy is on your hybrid.
Looks like something the dealer forgot to remove after they unloaded your truck from the car transporter, except my 2022 XL Hybrid has the same thing. :)
The old sealed beam headlamps didn't have condensation problems, their glass lenses didn't yellow with age, and they didn't cost $1,500 each to replace.
I love snow.
Just this week I was driving down the state road when a monster plow truck approached, its massive plow slightly over the double yellow line. Of course I slowed down and steered onto the shoulder of the road. Nevertheless, alarms went off and the instrument panel lit up bright red...
Are all four brake discs smooth and shiny? Any abnormal wear on the rear pads? I'm wondering if the emergency brake is dragging.
In the old days I'd suspect carburetor, plugs, distributor, etc but with modern systems I think you'd get a Check Engine Light if anything was amiss under the hood.
My arithmetic indicates you used 199 gallons of gas to drive 7500 miles and 24 gallons to drive the next 500 miles, resulting in a drop from 37.6 mpg to 20.8 mpg.
Either my spreadsheet formulas are wrong, your data is wrong, or your neighbor is siphoning gas while you sleep.
Do you have a tape measure handy? The distance from the bottom corner of the metal body panel at the rear door of my Maverick to the garage floor is 19 1/2", and the distance measured from the panel at the front door is 14 1/2". I picked specific corner points to measure from as opposed to...
On back roads it takes at least 5 miles for my Maverick to provide me any warm air. It's much slower to warm up than our RAV4 Hybrid which has a similar 2.5L Atkinson cycle engine etc.
Demographics of new car buyers - all light cars & trucks, not just Mavericks.
I couldn't find a more current chart than this one from Statista but many articles say the skew towards older buyers has gotten dramatically worse since 2017.
I suppose young people today are spending their money on...
I don't care who monetizes my data, whether it's Ford, Google, or Apple.
I use Android Auto with wireless adapters in both of our cars and I like having the same interface to the 3 M's (maps, music, and messaging) whether I'm driving my Ford or my wife's Toyota.
If you want to store your spare in the bed for whatever reason, that third strap is the most important one, in case you need to stop quickly & unexpectedly.
I doubt that the orange strap solution will safely secure a 50-lb tire+wheel in event of an emergency situation.
In my 2022 XL (not a 2025) there's a constant warning light on the dashboard which I cover up plus a loud warning chime and error message that pop up about 20 minutes into a drive, interrupting my nap. I bought my winter tires in 2022 when there weren't many good TPMS options for the Maverick...
