Can you expand on what this means?
Means simply none of the drive modes will be available to select if you set the values in the addresses at 720-09-02 and 720-10-01 but not at 720-09-01. To avoid this set all 3 or don't do the modification.

We're still waiting to see if this available on the larger screens, right?

Apologies up front - I am NOT a photographer...

This mod works on a 6.5" screen, in all modes, for me. I have an XLT FX4 (no Lux or CP360). I get the display as one of my screens.

Ford Maverick FORScan Mod – Enable Eco Coach Mode IMG_20230101_125930241_HDR

When I moderately accelerate or brake the "meter" on the green circle moves in proportion to my speed.

Ford Maverick FORScan Mod – Enable Eco Coach Mode IMG_20230101_130134563_HDR

When I accelerate or brake hard the green goes away and I see two lines diverge indicating the degree of acceleration or braking (I assume).

Ford Maverick FORScan Mod – Enable Eco Coach Mode IMG_20230101_130139199_HDR

My menu options are similar. (Shout out to @Maverick2022XL for the Lane Keeping Assist mod!)

I did notice that the detailed metrics (Eco Behavior) consist of three lines with percentages for Acceleration, Deceleration, and Speed. I do not have a Compliance Score on my display. I also DO NOT have the Good Driving Behavior display.

I actually like the graphic display over the metrics.

@Maverick2022XL, how did you get a Digital Speedometer enabled? I must've missed that mod...

Good deal, I'll update the main post. On the 4 inch cluster the digital speedometer is one of options for the myview screen.

As far as metrics goes why it doesn't have a compliance metric I don't know. The good driver display only comes on when you turn the engine off but leave the key in the on position after driving on the 4inch cluster. Should work the same on yours.

I'll look for that tomorrow. Thanks!

Found this about the Ford "Eco Coach Feature" which is a real-world test of the concept with a similar "look and feel" but implemented differently than what we can enable in our Mavericks. This is a cool future of this feature!

Very Interesting!

Hybrids have a form of this built in but this could be very useful in gas only vehicles.

Toyota Hybrid Left Side Gauge and
Maverick Hybrid Left Side Gauge have the same form and function.

Toyota labels 0-50% as "Eco".
Generally 0-25% is where EV is possible.
Ford could also have labeled the lower section of the percent gauge as Eco because that's where low fuel consumption lies. Same gauges, different labels.

I tried to view the "good driver display" but all I get is the truck graphic that appears when the truck is turned off and ignition is left on. That must be a 6.5" screen thing. I clicked OK on this screen just to see if that button was active behind the graphic but no luck. So, I can enable the "advice" menu option but can't see the advice display

I imagine I'll just reset that option and go with the display and metrics. There is still great value with this feature. Thanks for sharing it!

You also have to have had the eco coach screen active when you turn the key to the engine off but power on position. It is possible it is a 4 inch cluster screen option either way. The advice I don't know exactly how that works either. I'll shut it off later and see if any screens change or disappear.

Yep, had that screen on when turning the engine off but power on. Curious to hear what you find out.

The eco advice option is for the driver behavior screen you get when you turn the key off. Also the screen only comes on in the key off / engine off position. For a 6 inch screen the possibility is it uses a different forscan value for it to activate even though that value turns on the menu option. My suggestion if you want to try it is use different values for 720-10-01 and see if any work besides activating the assistance screen option. You only have values from 0 - F in hex to do a trial and error approach.

I'll give it a try this weekend and let you know how it goes. Thanks!
