My 22 XLT with 18k miles makes a similar noise. I just started to notice it. Now, how long that noise has been around - who knows. I don't think it was there 5k miles ago, though.
Dealer took a look at it today and first said they couldn't hear anything. They tried again later in the day...
Just noticed this today as the sun hit it just right. Haven't used any liquid cleaning products recently. When/if I do, I don't spray directly on plastic and keep away from the cluster anyways. It's along the bottom edge. I tried uses a lens cleaner wipe to remove and it seems to have no effect...
encouraging progress!
If I'm reading this correctly, the DLRs are the now the brighter (like turn signal flash) amber - and not the dimmer parking light amber. This may be an issue for those with Lasfits as they'd almost generate too much heat with that bright of output.
I would not recommend the MA1 if you use a Samsung phone. I have an S21 and the MA1 is absolute hot garbage. In 11 minute drive, it fully disconnected twice and couldn't play a spotify song start to finish without skipping. Half way home from my 11 minute drive, I could have thrown the POS out...
Slick design. It appears to only use the small hole in the bottom of the cubby to secure it. Wonder if it was designed so that it wedges in tightly then held in from coming out with a feature that interfaces with the hole.
Easily
I may do that here at some point. I need to get a universal Quad Lock mount and a generic case for my ipad. I don't think I'll get around to that until hunting season this fall though.
I designed and printed a cubby adapter for a 1" RAM ball that I use with my quad lock phone mount.
It uses inclined planes to compress two rubber pucks against the inside vertical walls; keeping it rock solid. If you try to move the phone, you can see the whole dash & trim move.
My issue - the...
How are you removing the Chicco from the base with your seat in that position??
IMO the Chicco KeyFit30 fits terribly in the Maverick. This Chicco was bought new in 2022.
The rearmost part of the front seats is at the same height as the forward most part of the chicco. This presents a problem...
I'll be ordering some 235/65/17 Wildpeak A/T3Ws. I have had really good luck with KO2s in the past, but I think they are overpriced and too heavy for this little truck. Hoping I'll like the Falkens.
2.0 AWD 4k and I can't believe how poorly these tires handle snow/ice. I expected mediocre performance from stock tires, but these are borderline dangerous.
The AWD/traction control system does a good job controlling grip taking off from a stop, but once you get moving forward - good luck...
I'm looking at this exact tire & size but am worried about mileage drops. I have the EB awd, so not apples to apples, but can you comment on how these tires affected your mileage?
I tried updating this last night and am unable to get it to see there's an update available. I followed the steps outlines in the posts before.
I am at 1.9
The only thing left to try is to get out away from any wifi signals and hotspot to my phone.
Just a follow up.
Finally got it into the dealer. They said there was poor pin fitment between on the socket connector. They replaced the pigtail and the socket. Hope this solves this issue.
I see. Did you make these yourself? I'll probably leave mine for now and see how it behaves loaded past 1000lbm.
Good to see your RH cam bolt marks are also misaligned. Mine are too and though maybe a bolt slipped.
I noticed that the height of the bag doesn't equal the height of the inside of the spring. Under no load and inflated, it pushes out on the inside of the coils, but it still a good inch+ away from the top of the spring. It's possible I haven't just loaded the bed enough to engage the airbag, but...
Anyone know when the factory wheel alignment is performed?
I was under my Maverick installing rear airbags and noticed the RH lower control arm camber bolt's marks were not aligned.
Bolt slip? or was an alignment performed at end the end of assembly after initial installation and marking of...
