Hmmm. I just enabled Sport and Eco yesterday, and tooled around awhile in Eco mode without noticing any major differences in performance or fuel economy. Was going to try the Mario Amphetamine Sport mode today. Now I'm questioning my doing so.

I would still like to keep all the modes, as I'll probably be in Normal or Slippery most of the time. I can't see the harm in using Sport or Eco very rarely, but do have some qualms about why Ford chose to omit these two modes on the FX4 4K packages.

I also waxed the Autostop/Autostart feature. Didn't like that "bonus" feature much!

Sorry to bother you but will ForScan work with a Mac computer?
Late reply, but they don't offer a Mac version of the FORScan app.... that said, I did get it working on mine by making a Bootcamp partition on an intel based MacBook Air. This isn't available for Apple Silicon Macs, but if you have an older one, you can use the following article from Apple to create a Bootcamp partition, and install Windows 10:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/102622

If you have a Mac that's able to do this, storage capacity will take a hit when you make the new partition, but it does work, and no issues with the OBDLink EX I purchased. You'll need a Windows 10 license, or whatever approach you find necessary/appropriate for that part.

Thank you very much! I do have an older MacBook Pro with an Intel chip that has 400 gig of storage still available(using an iPad for the past few years) and already purchased the Obdlink EX; my Lariat Eco has been sitting at Kansa rail yard for 3 weeks,, delivery to Granger Iowa expected by 1/14, fingers crossed.

I want my '23 Maverick XL Hybrid to start up in Eco Mode. Is there a fix for that? Can you program the truck to start up in a particular mode?

Not in Forscan. There are other threads on this, it requires the truck to read button presses after starting it. There are users making and/or selling a small device that mimics button presses to automate this.

The Eco mode is similar to Slippery in that the pedal mapping is a bit reduced. I honestly like it, makes smooth driving a bit easier. Also I read that Eco mode does some things to your AC and other systems to reduce draw on the motor as much as possible.

Yes, they have modes listed above. Additionally, you can enable Mud&Ruts and/or Sand mode via ForScan.
I just did my XL4 Lariat for Eco and Sport modes. I didn't but could've enabled Rock/Crawl and Baja too. Don't need a bunch of choices for city driving. If I go off roading I may enable those last 2 as well.
