They think it will be a 2.0 Turbo Hybrid! With a traditional automatic transition rather than the eCVT in the Mav. Somewhat like the F150 Powerboost hybrid but with a transverse I4 instead of the longitudinal V6.

Most of the American public has never driven stick in there lives -- including middle aged folks.

I'm glad we don't have these stupid oversized screens in the Maverick, holy cow. What the heck do you need all the screen space for anyway, you're driving a vehicle not watching a movie.

China wants - China gets. Mark this down - China will NOT be waiting 300-400-500 days to get one either. It is called LEVERAGE and they have it all - chips for starters. Never in my almost 76 years did I think we would abandon American values and have another country get where China has gotten - almost has control over us … not political, just pure facts.

The chips for almost everything in modern cars are made in Taiwan and Japan, not China. I mean Taiwan is sort of China, but that's a technicality.

The new Edge could find itself over here in the future if it performs well there. I am guessing its a test market much like how the Focus evolved in the EU before making its way here....

The US has always gotten the short end of the stick from Ford, except for about 2011-2016 when we got the exact same cars as the rest of the world. Now it's back to trucks, a couple mediocre crossovers, and....well nothing. Meanwhile GM has new model after new model coming out, in all shapes sizes and price ranges. Too bad they still build them out of Legos.
