Lol, no.
If Toyota, Ram, and GM were rolling out hybrid trucks for the 2024 MY we would have heard and seen a LOT of spyshots by now. It would be huge news, and we have heard nothing like that.
Start of 2024 model year is 6 months off now, and we would likely be with in 4 months of orders opening.
I love the scenario where you tell them to "cancel" the Maverick and then your sleuthing reveals that is not, in fact, cancelled.
I see you returning to the crime scene like this...
Bearsfan: Hey, remember the Maverick that I ordered that I told you I wanted to cancel? Well, I just learned...
We've had 2 Mavericks. I think they are amazing.
I also scratch my head when people start whining about "quality".
It's fine for the price we paid!
And our previous 2 new cars were a Porsche and Alfa Romeo... and BMWs for that.
I feel like Gene Wilder in Blazing Saddles.
"You’ve got to remember that these are just simple farmers. These are people of the land. The common clay of the new West.
You know… morons."
A man with a plan.
Strategery!
Step 1- Cancel!
Step 2- DEMAND proof of dealer cancelling (which they will not do)
Step 3- Force dealer to sell me the truck I cancelled
Step 4- Profit!
I'm in awe.
This is pretty simple.
FINANCING: use your credit union, get pre-approved there first. The dealer likely is affiliated with the CU and can run it through in-house. Ford does NOT offer rate protection back to time of order on 2023 Mavericks.
CURRENT CAR: sell it yourself. Take it to 2-3 local...
