My wife has a 2019 Ridgeline AWD. It gets on average at least 5 MPG better than an average full-size half-ton. On pure highway driving it might get 8-10 MPG better.I have always liked the Ridgeline ( both generations) . But my biggest concern Was that the fuel economy of these were really not much difference from an full size truck. It always turned me off of the vehicle. ( for reference I did have a 2013 Acura MDX that used the same drivetrain. Terrible fuel mileage in the city/mid 20s avg on the highway. Oh and needed premium)
Agree, Ridgeline is absolutely a mid-size, and in no way could you compare it to a full size. It is the easiest to live with of any of the mid-size trucks because of handling/MPG and overall comfort. I think what hurts it the most is the looks. It looks too much like an SUV for the typical truck buyer's ego.I would disagree on one piece of this. For a mid -size truck it drives nicer, parks nicer, rides nicer and has amazing trunk storage. So if you want a mid size truck but want the drive experience if a nice SUV, it's now the only thing in the market. This is where is believe Honda his milked it for so long. No competition in the mid size market. But now Ford will be cutting into some of their market with the Mav bc there was no smaller option.
Nope it is midsize, I own one. Not even close to full size in any way.The Ridgeline is absolutely not mid size. It is much closer to full size than mid. Insisting on comparing it against smaller trucks only shows how afraid Honda is.
