That's the problem, most often the rear tires are in the water, or right at the edge & therefore no traction.Actually RWD is better than FWD as long as they keep their tires dry. The weight of the trailer and the boat on the rear axle provides traction where it is actually shifting the weight distribution away from the front wheels.
