Just to confirm, you submitted for the Extended License? You can get a free one that lasts a couple months.
Correct, I was able to write to other modules. It will not let me write at all to the IPC, EZ or AS BUILT.

Build date was 10/25.

I also tested:
Emergency Brake Lamp EnableBCM(EZ) Enable "Emergency Brake Lamp"Triple flash brake lights on hard braking and hazard lights after
Can confirm it DOES NOT WORK for a 2025 Lariat Hybrid

That is strange. I was able to write to IPC, back in April, when I changed the seat belt message. Maybe try an older version of Forscan.

This is my post, from when I did it: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...n-screen-confirmed-working.45892/post-1086567

I recall there was a beta version out then too. But I believe either worked for me.

Confirmed WORKING now using FORScan 2.3.69 beta!

Can also confirm that the brake telltale change works on a 2025.
Navigation while in motion does not work on a 2025.

DISABLE SEATBELT INFORMATION SCREEN
1. Open IPC AS BUILT
2. Change line 720-13-01 and 720-13-02 to ALL ZEROS. And WRITE the changes. Click yes to let Forscan correct the checksum.
3. Change line 720-14-01 and 720-14-02 to ALL ZEROS. And WRITE the changes. Click yes to let Forscan correct the checksum.
Another happy customer! I was able to disable the seat belt screen/chime using these instructions and the FORScan 2.3.69 Beta from https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...blocked-on-2025-xlt-hybrid.76004/post-1255942 on my 2025Hybrid.

This is what's working for me. '24 XLT Hybrid.

No message if driver is clicked in. Pops up if not.
Goes away immediately when clicked if message is showing.
Indicator should still work for all seats.

I changed this so that it won't ding at me at startup.

Hello guys, questions for you guys I was looking at forscan, so line 720-13-01: F100- is there reason you would enable the seatbelt minder chime for front 2 passengers? any idea what would happen if i pick E0xx that disables front row chime as well. also anyone test what happens if rear passengers is unbuckled or unbuckles seatbelt does the instrument monitor pop up but immediately gooes away if they buckle back in?

I would like to leave my contribution here!

First of all, I would like to thank @EONR24 for all his efforts in the excellent spreadsheet, and for making himself available in several topics to help members with Forscan. I would also like to thank everyone who contributed in some way with the posts and topics.

This was my wish: to get into the truck, turn it on, hear the chimes and see the seat belt light and monitor on the cluster. Then, as soon as I buckled my seat belt, everything would disappear, including the graphic monitor on the cluster.

However, none of the tests I did worked that way for me. YES, I tested all the methods that were suggested here in this topic and also in other related topics on this forum. None of them worked 100%... In all the attempts I made, the Monitor would remain displayed on the screen for approximately 1 minute, even after buckling the seatbelts. It would only disappear after 1 minute, or after pressing OK.

UNTIL I DECIDED TO TRY IT OUT... lol

So, I'll give you some tips for anyone who wants it to work like mine:
- Belt monitor ON (disappears as soon as you buckle your seatbelt)
- Belt minder ON (OFF as soon as you buckle your seatbelt)
- Belt chime ON (OFF as soon as you buckle your seatbelt)
- Belt light ON (OFF as soon as you buckle your seatbelt)
*Please note that there will only be warnings if someone is sitting in the seat, activating the pressure/weight sensor. In other words, if only the driver gets in, the warnings will be ON and everything disappears as soon as driver buckle the seatbelts.

Go to the IPC module (non as built), look for "Seatbelt Configuration - Row ... Col ..." and do the following (photo attached):
- R1C1 "Fixed Seat present with Belt MINDER". (driver's seat)
- R1C5 "Fixed Seat present with Belt MINDER". (passenger seat)
- R2C1 "Fixed Seat present with Belt MONITOR". (left rear seat)
- R2C3 "Fixed Seat present with Belt MONITOR". (middle rear seat)
- R2C5 "Fixed Seat present with Belt MONITOR". (right rear seat)

Even the alternative as-built options from @EONR24 spreadsheet made the change to all seats, except for R2C3. And because of that, it didn't work as I wanted. I tracked the change to the R2C3 seat in the as-built coding, but no code for that seat was present in the IPC (even after changing only that seat, the codes didn't change in the IPC).

PS.: I have a child car seat in the R2C1 and R2C5. So I don't know if it interfered for me, I don't think so, because the weight of the seat is too little to activate the seat pressure sensor. For child car seats, I don't use the seat belt, just the isofix.

Everything works, wonderful!

Old post but to add that this does not work for USDM 2024 XLT hybrid. The factory coding was already set to this, with the normal behavior of having to press OK or wait for a long delay.

I want it to work this way, but none of the codings make it work like I want so have had to compromise and change the AS-BUILT codings to make the screen go away when I'm buckled. Side effect of that is that it will not show an unbuckled rear occupant now. It will show a green check if someone buckles, but an empty seat if someone is sitting there unbuckled.

Also, did anyone ever find out a way to stop the "Ready To Drive" popup? I can't find that in a search because anyone who mentions it always ends up talking about the seatbelt one.

One last question - if you've been buckled and have parked, say to get gas. If you unbuckle, you're presented with a seatbelt screen you cannot scroll away from or clear. I try to reset a trip after fuel up and this screen gets me frequently. Can this be disabled without disabling the screen entirely?

Desperately waiting for FORscan to provide a version for a 2026 Maverick and spread sheet for the same.

I predict most everything will be the same as 2025 models, we just need the firmware update for 2026 models

A lot to read here, especially for someone not familiar with Forscan. Is it possible to consolidate this into the most pertinent info?

I want to thank you both. I just wanted the screen to go away once the belts are buckled, and now it does. So I can confirm this works on a '25.
Mine looks like @GotMojo. Just changed 3 of the 2s to 1s.

Thank you for sharing. This has worked on my 2025 and has gone a long way to restoring my sanity! We always wear our seatbelts and wanted the warnings to go away once the belts are buckled. Was getting sick and tired of endlessly clicking the 'OK' button!

Glad it helped. I was sick of it too. The rare times I drive my wife’s ‘23 Escape, which does not have this change, I’m reminded how much I hated it 😀

Ok so my belt is on. What good is obscuring my instrument cluster with giant splash screen showing a green check mark? For like 10 minutes! Is that to reward me for being a good boy? If that screen disappeared as soon as you fastened your belt I bet nobody would care.
It lasts one minute. I timed it,
Still it does feel like ten when your trying to get underway right !
Sue me people and the Ambulance chasers ruin it for everybody.
That will never change.
