I don't remember their colors. I tapped into the wires going to the cargo bed lights above the rear window. Ran my wires inside the headliner, down behind the back seat and out the same spot as the tail gate lock wires. Ran inside the right rear fender to the right rear tail light area then into...
With all the snow and ice, I installed Bosch Winter Blades, Wiper fluid that goes down to -35 which still froze on a couple of nights! I disabled the tpms as my Michelin X-ice don't have the tpms sensors so I monitor my tire pressure frequently with the temperature fluctuations. Been working...
Thank you for sharing. This has worked on my 2025 and has gone a long way to restoring my sanity! We always wear our seatbelts and wanted the warnings to go away once the belts are buckled. Was getting sick and tired of endlessly clicking the 'OK' button!
If yours is a 2025 and up it's behind the center console panel in the passenger foot area. If it's a 2024-2022 it plugs in behind the obd2 port on drivers side.
I wanted to thank everyone for the great information here. I did the lock actuator and wiring on my brand new XL that I just bought. I removed the trim panels from the door post all the way back to the rear of the truck and found a little rubber grommet that allowed me to run the wires straight...
Yes, if memory serves me right. I think it was just the two settings. Don't forget to plug in the little jumper wire that comes with the Perimeter Plus if you do not have remote start on your factory key fob. It's my understanding that the little jumper enables the remote start from the non...
I've got my Perimeter Plus installed and enabled it with my FORScan software in my 2025 Maverick Hybrid. Super easy to do. I bent the metal cover out of the way. Once the weather warms up, I plan to see if there's room for me to cut the bolt in order to free the cover then hopefully extract the...
This probably isn't needed for the Lariat but works for lower trims that don't have remote start on the factory key fob plus adds a basic alarm system that you can control the sensitivity of. I've got mine set to trigger with the same amount of force as closing the tailgate.
My Maverick is an XL without push button start. My method cost me some fordpass rewards points and $17 in tax and shipping. So really just the $17 which was really cheap for me. Otherwise I'd have done the method you mentioned. Plus, the Perimeter Plus gives you a basic alarm system which is...
I can confirm that this Ford Perimeter Plus does work with the 2025 Maverick. I installed it this afternoon and enabled it using Forscan software on my windows laptop. Super easy to install. I used fordpass points to order and only paid around $17 in tax and shipping. Well worth it and now I can...

I bought one for a great price from ebay. Works great, super easy to install and set up. Improves alarm system. I use this most of the time because it's faster than launching the ford pass app for remote start.
See if your VPN allows split tunneling. If it does, you can have it on but set it up to bypass your Ford Pass app and your drone so they'll work properly.
Has anyone had any luck figuring out if there's two wires in the harness of a Hybrid that can be used to add oem style bed lighting switch and lights? I've added bed lighting to mine but would prefer it to run off the oem switch and circuit if it's possible for me to achieve on a Hybrid without...
My thinking exactly. I've owned Fords for many, many years. Had some of the first versions of Ford connect then Ford Pass. In my experience, those services have been allowed to become obsolete by Ford and in Europe it's already a subscription after an initial period of time. That's why I went...
