This probably isn't needed for the Lariat but works for lower trims that don't have remote start on the factory key fob plus adds a basic alarm system that you can control the sensitivity of. I've got mine set to trigger with the same amount of force as closing the tailgate.

This is what I did and it works great!

I bought one for a great price from ebay. Works great, super easy to install and set up. Improves alarm system. I use this most of the time because it's faster than launching the ford pass app for remote start.

I had the same and pulled the bulb, reversed it in the socket and it works. It was the polarity reversed. Minor issue.

See if your VPN allows split tunneling. If it does, you can have it on but set it up to bypass your Ford Pass app and your drone so they'll work properly.
