2024 XLT Hybrid. Issue started before ANY mods were done and the only electrical thing I did was to add Qi charging from a post on this forum.
I've had this issue enough that I know I'm not crazy. From the day I bought the truck when I almost locked myself out. I don't know the cause and effect of the issue. I come home and pull into my garage. I don't lock the doors. Sometimes I do some work in the garage and I hear relays clicking and chattering but I have no idea what's happening. Is that because I have the fob in my pocket and I'm walking to and from the truck in the garage?
If I try to get into the truck, mostly it's unlocked and it's fine. Occasionally, the door is locked. After having this happen a few times, I am nearly certain that I did NOT accidently lock the door.
Add to this, the other day my wife and I were going out and my door was locked. Before I could use the fob to unlock my door, my wife stepped in her side. She does not carry the key to this truck. If I had accedently locked the truck, the front passenger would be locked too. Right? Next time this happens, I'll try to check the rear doors to see if they are locked or not.
