I wish you a long and happy life. However, one's life span may be a bit predictable based on genetics and life style, but sh-t happens. Looks to me like when you are born, you become old enough to die. Just saying........ Summation: Enjoy your maverick while you can!!!
They stole it from a hybrid? My sis got mine... and some dickless ahole swiped the catalytic converter... she had no choice but to sink $4k into a new one. The new Mav is way better than the old Ellie.
I'm 61. I don't think even the Maverick will help me when it gets here.Just turned 61 yesterday. Got my Maverick Saturday. Chicks all think I'm sexy.....finally
Being an "old" man, I remember the Mustang of which you speak: A Classic!! The 22my of maverick may be remembered as such in about 50 years also. I do hope that there is just enough change from MY22 to MY23 so they can be recognized by MY because when supplies become available there will probably be a lot of them. May be MY24 before that happens and there may very well be a plug-in by then. Who knows in fifty years? It may be more like "Beam me up Scottie"!!!Being an old woman, I bought the Maverick because it reminded me of a 64 Mustang,, came out in a half year, very popular, was a surprise to Ford at how well it was received by the public, became an icon. Maverick is already on it's way to becoming an icon.
Hey, I pre-date the 'boomer" period; it began in 1946 and I began before that!!!! I hope you are old enough to remember K. C. Jones who played for the Boston Celtics during their Championship dynasty days. Was quite a coach also.I know it's already been said, but this thread really calls for an "Okay,, Boomer"

I was born in 68, but am a classic car guy. Mostly 1960s dodge and plymouth muscle cars. The iconic mustang went from 64&1/2 thru 1966 with extremely minor changes. Colors, options etc. The only outward way to tell a 64,65,66 apart is the fake side scoops in the rear quarters. 64 had only the indent in the steel panel. 65, it was adorned with a thin chrome strip in that spot, 66 the chrome strip had strakes pointed forward in that same spot. A fastback was not offered until 1965. Note the rear quarter in front of the rear wheels in the pix below in order of 64,65,66. Shelby's were their own animal starting in 1965, and didnt come with any such adornment. By mid year 1966, ford had hit the 1 million mustangs built mark.Being an "old" man, I remember the Mustang of which you speak: A Classic!! I bought it in 2002 partially restored and completed it in 2003. It’s a driver, not a trailer queen, it’s a closed cab pickup.Looking forward to your review.
