Had mine for over a year, and got 27-28 MPG routinely; actually flirted with 29 mpg a couple of times. Over the last month it slowly dropped to 26 mpg. I was concerned and then realized the engine didn't cut off at red lights etc any more. There's the answer! I'll take it in for fix...
I,m with Stumpy... Could NOT figure this out, until one day I leaned against the side to reach a tool, and viola! Door open yet again... So started paying more attention and problem solved. In my effort to contribute to the body of scientific data, I am conducting an experiment to test whether...
Wow! I may take mine off and get these! After I placed mine, I couldn't for the life of me understand why Ford didn't do this from the beginning. Or the dealerships sell these at an fantastical markup.
Don't like it. Just because you can do something doesn,t mean you should. But I,m 72 and think that automobiles have been going downhill since they took the headlights dimmer button off the floorboard. (A lot of you don't know it was ever there) doc

Retired USAF dentist. Full-time father to 4 and grandpa to 7. Got the Mav because I like small trucks. Had a 94 Toyo with the RE engine, manual trans. LOVED it....but rusted out....no big surprise there.

When I stop the truck in a quiet place and open driverside door I hear a faint buzzing sound. At first I though it was an open door warning, but it is so faint, it would not be recognized. Next thought it might be a motor or servo winding down. Anyone else? Any thoughts?

Rein in dealers! No more "admin fees" and other such to drive up price. Or just do away with dealers...order on line and have vehicle delivered to your driveway.
Me too. Just when I was about to run by the dealer, it started closing easier. Now it is closing like one would expect. Just takes some "break-in time. Doc
