I have the Lariat / Tremor that can read the speed limit signs. Sometimes it makes me laugh because when a speed zone sneaks up on it, the cruise control hits the brakes like it saw the cop before I did lol
Pro tip (for those who do not have ACC), any 2025 should be able to enable the speed limit cameras. (I did on mine via Forscan) Mind you, the vehicle will only provide the information for you, the driver to process, without ACC the vehicle will not do any slowing down magic for you.

Do you have cruise control set? I hope the 2025s have improved transmission logic programming - but in my 2023, the cruise control will allow the truck to go 10 mph OVER the set speed on a steep highway downhill run. Previous vehicles I've had would downshift 1, 2, or even 3 gears to keep me relatively close to the set speed. This is another reason I'll end up putting a paddle-shifter steering wheel in my truck.
Having only driven only lo-tech conventional vehicles over 20 years old, besides the hybrid Prius and Maverick. I thought this was something that only the hybrids did to add to the regen braking. Of course the regen braking kicks in even if you're not using cruise control and just let off the gas pedal. Sometimes I like it, other times I want the added speed to get me up a coming hill without a lot of throttle application. When this happens, I "feather" my throttle application so I will coast more and maybe gain some speed.

Yeah, my 2014 Acura RDX wasn’t quite that old, but was 100% ICE, and the cruise handled steep highways REALLY well. I’m talking Monarch Pass in CO with 7% grades… OTOH there are “hills” in Texas that the regular Maverick cruise will easily let me hurtle into “getting a ticket” territory if I’m not paying attention. Not the end of the world, and that isn’t the only area the EB 8-speed logic is lacking anyway.
