Yes it is, what is the difference between the E85 & Reg 87?
As others mentioned, it's corn based high ethanol fuel. You get less energy per gallon compared to gasoline in non-turbocharged cars but depending on where you live and how much each is per gallon, E85 can save a bunch of money.

It also burns much cleaner than gas does and can literally clean carbon buildup. If you use it on a non-flex fuel capable car, it will eat rubber fuel lines and seals though. Flex fuel cars have to have specialized fuel systems to withstand the high ethanol fuel.

You gotta have both. Daily driver and a real truck for when it's time to do truck things.
Don't say that.

I was going to use the smaller truck as an excuse to get smaller loads instead of admitting getting old and don't feel like doing all that physical labor in one go. You know... spread it out a little.

Like the title says, I had blast hanging out on this forum for the last year or so learning all things Maverick. I truly do believe it’s a great little truck. But after waiting about a year I can’t wait any longer. My current daily driver just crapped the bed and I needed a new vehicle ASAP. Would have loved a Maverick but after searching I couldn’t find one in my budget/options I wanted.

That’s when I found my new truck

It’s a 2016 F150 4x4 5.0V8 w/6sp transmission w/tow mod. 74k Miles, FX4 package, Chrome package, Max tow package, & Lux package in Bronze Fire Red color. I paid the same price I would have for the Maverick and I absolutely love it!

I do honestly believe the F150 would be better for me in the long run compared to the Maverick, I’m very glad I stumbled upon this truck!!!

(And to add insult to injury, I saw about 20 Mavericks on the road on the trip there and back, had to go out of state for the F150)
Beautiful truck . I would like to see that color on a maverick .

Beautiful looking truck , the color is awsome. I would like to see a maverick in that color . Plus the F-150 has a proven track record ,so to speak , the maverick hasn't been around long enough ,so we don't know for sure what we can expect in 5 or 6 years . hopfully no suprises . . You did Good .

Congrats on your F150. Beautiful truck. I have driven F150's for some time, then went to RAM 1500's and now have 2 Mavericks. As the old saying goes, "A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do." You gave it a shot and Ford did not come thru, but glad you found something that worked for you.

That’s a beautiful truck! That color with the chrome and white letter tires is a great combo, I hope it serves you well.

If you think you really need a truck that size then the Maverick may not have been right for you. You can always go back! I've had 3 F150's and I can't talk bad about them, just no longer had the need.

I have an F150 that is like yours, only it is white. It has been a great truck! I also get around 23 MPG on the highway at 55 MPH.

I paid $40K new in 2016 ($9K below MSRP) - a new one (if you can find it) is now $65K. Which is about the price of two new Mavericks.

My wife still has her 2001 F150 V8 and it has never needed any major repairs.

I hope your F150 serves you well.

Patience is a virtue and bitterness is not useful to oneself.
So I’m supposed to go without transportation for 3+ months?

Agreed. Much better than 4 different shades of grey/silver like we get with Maverick.

My dealer's lot is full of new F150's. That's about all they have, really. I did not look at price, but I see Ford is starting to offer rebates. I already have a full size truck, so they don't interest me.
