Wife got this for me to use when I have a long load. From "Planet Bike" and from REI. Works great, has on, flash, and pulse mode and recharges via usb, and has a strap to mount it. I have a '22 with Elevate Racks, still love it.
Just hauled four loads of downed tree limbs from front of property up to wood shed. Easy, good, fir firewood, over 20 feet long.
Not quite 3000 miles yet. Still love this truck, very glad I ignored the rabble and held out for everything I wanted. See my other posts for all my mods and details.
NIU grad here, but been in Pacific Northwest since '83. We did a meet-up a month ago. I went through looking for posts from WA and came up with 110 names. Another member then sent out invites. We met a a local park (free) about a month ago. See posts under W WA Mav Meet-up Feb 18th - 11am til...
Just a little warning note. You should probably not keep the trailer hitch on when not in use. Theft is possible. But years ago while backing out of a parking spot, my hitch "popped" under the bumper of the car behind. Not good. Also, when backing the Maverick, the hitch will contact before the...
Sorry, I didn't see your truck. Oh wait! That's me standing right in front of it. I think you must have left a bit early. Glad you could make it.
It was indeed enjoyable to meet some fellow Maverick friends. I had mentioned to Paul (paneubert) that I'd be pleased if 10 showed up. We had 10 + 1 still waiting for his truck. As I remember, we had 2 A51, 2 HPR, 1 Velocity Blue, 2 Alto blue, 1 Cactus Grey, 1 Black, and 1 iconic silver. No...
I have the Elevate rack with Ford roll-up. Paul and I will be at the meet up tomorrow, and we can compare systems. Big difference is the support, Elevate has wide footing base where the other uses a 45° brace. Height on elevate is two sizes, but only need to drill a couple of holes on inner pipe...
Sorry for your loss. That's terrible. After all the waiting and wanting for this to happen. Glad you're OK, there will be other trucks.
BTW, does anyone know how to find a wrecked Mav in the junk yard? I would like to score the temp gauges from an early build before they quit putting them in...
I like the Ford tonneau hard roll-up. It works well with the Elevate rack. I had a canopy on my Ranger for 20 years, so tonneau use is new to me.
It seems to do a good job of keeping bed dry. It's easy to deal with, and locks nicely with tailgate locked.
The things I don't like... height of...
If they were missing, then no need to lie. They are aware of the high number of parts, easy to miss a part, and had no issue with sending me the missing ones that should have come in the TS Rail box.
