Dash Rattle - anyone else?

Do you have any details on how they did that? Would love to pass that along, and fix it for good. I assume they had to tear the entire dash apart? Any damage from that?

Yes that was me, maybe I misunderstood but that was the initial diagnosis not the new one, correct? Anyway glad it was sorted.

They are one and the same. Just needed reseated better the second time. No problem, I understand that sometimes I may not make myself clear. Hope your Mav gets sorted out soon.

Got it thanks! This is great news for all of us, glad it got sorted. Looks like they might have come in from under the wiper motor, which makes it a lot easier.

Welp. Page 9742 is where the upper dash removal instructions start. Let's just say it's not something that I will undertake.

I worry more damage might be caused from it as well. I will keep it in mind however if I ever need to get into it.

Got it back again yesterday. NO longer hear the rattle. Just had to re-reseat the vent work.

Was this the rattle you were experiencing? If so, this may help me relay instructions to my dealer.

Mine was so bad, I was going to order a '25 model and hope it didn't rattle so badly. That is, until I saw that the '25MY physical HVAC controls were removed and put into the stupid Infotainment screen, requiring looking at the screen to adjust the settings. That, and the redesign from hell headlight eye patches. Really bummed about it all.

Welp, I have 500 miles on my 25 and have a rattle and a pop that started this week I’m hoping it’s just the cold weather, but it’s been cold since I bought it and reading over all the past threads for the last 20 mins doesn’t give me much hope.
