I think it’s more corporate greed and pleasing share holders. You can’t tell me that adding a memory button to the driver seat and an auto dimming homelink mirror (both 20 year old technology) would make a notable difference in the cost of the vehicle.
I came from an F150 and don't have many regrets. Love the mileage and its a great truck for me to commute and run errands. I don't love the seats and I do miss the interior space of the F150. The fit and finishes are much nicer in the F150 as well. I bought the Lariat trim Maverick and it still...
Are you using cruise control when you notice this? LKA is only used to help keep you in the lane (bounce back and forth between the lines) and works without activating adaptive cruise. Lane Centering is what keeps you in the center of the lane, but this feature is only available while using...
Here’s the part number. I added to my order but haven’t installed yet. There are 3 dimples in the bumper for placement which will not cover up the radar.
Sorry in advance as this will be my first time using forscan, but does this mean that for the 2025 I am not able to disable the seatbelt menu at start up while keeping the chimes and dash light? I would love to get rid of the startup seatbelt menu completely but keep the chime reminder and...
I'm happy with my @LASFIT mats. They provide great coverage, have held up well in the last 3.5 months through midwest winters, and the material is soft and grippy but keeps its shape. They are also a sponsor here and I believe they have a discount for members.
I haven’t noticed that, but I have noticed that it’s terrible in the dark. Extremely blurry and pixilated. Perfectly clear in the daylight though. My 2014 F150 was better quality even though it was 11 years older. I figured the tech would be much better by now.
I'm finding that if I instead try to get up to speed (or a few miles over) quicker and then let off the accelerator, the ICE will kick off and I'm able to drive in electric longer. The ICE isn't running as long this way and I'm not holding up traffic trying to keep it in electric the whole time...
What is the temp in your area? Are you running the heater when this happens? Are you using the brake coach to help recover the maximum amount of energy when braking? All of these can contribute to your ICE running while stopped. In my area the temp is in the teens, but once the truck is warmed...
They may changed it for the 25s then. My 25 has never had the audible tone with the ICE running. It will even stop dinging if I'm reversing and the ICE kicks on.
I believe the audible alarm only engages when the ICE isn’t running. It’s a safety feature for when you are on electric in case someone is walking near your vehicle with the thought that it won’t be moving because the engine isn’t running.
I have the 3 month trial as well. Sirius has already sent me an email offering 3 extra months of the Platinum plan for $2 after my trial expires. They offer this so they can get a credit card on file and have you agree to pay the current monthly price after those promotional months expire UNLESS...
I'm hoping they fix this with an update. I agree that it is pointless to offer it and then make you jump through hoops to access it everytime you drive the truck.
