Just completed replacement on the right side at 48K, all good. However, now I am aware of similar shudder at highway acceleration. Set up a new appointment and hope to get the other replaced as well.
The dealer should had replaced both to begin with. Ridiculous if they only replaced one. Understood warrenty work doesn’t pay, but get the job done.

Also I have read where someone said the Tremor axles are beefier and interchangeable, but I would verify first.
Only on EB Mavericks. Not hybrids like the owner of the post you responded to has, the EB and Hybrid have different shaft lengths.

Wonder if anyone has heard anything from Ford recently about this. Hoping for a CV axle recall still

Ford won't recall them. They'll wait and see how many last until the warranty is up. More likely you can buy the upgraded one.

Currently going through this with Ford dealership. They rebalance the tires at no cost because they couldn’t get it up to highway speeds to re-create the shuttering, even though they felt it on the way to the dealership when they picked up my car.

A day later, the shuttering is still there, and I left a message with them as they have not called me back yet. I am still under warranty

On my 2022, I had the infamous dead battery issue. Ford looked at it 3x and repeatedly said they could not find anything wrong. I finally gave up on the dealer (Western Slope Ford in Grand Junction, CO), tested the battery myself after charging overnight and found it only held 11.6 volts. WS Ford swore they consider that a good battery. So I bought an AGM battery as recommended on MTC. Problem fixed, haven't had a dead battery since.

The reason I mention this story is I wonder if that's not Ford's strategy, to repeatedly say they can't find the problem, hoping you'll give up and go somewhere else until the warranty expires. I detest Ford as a company because of this, especially WS Ford.

Started noticing vibration around 25K.
At 27K I took it into the dealer, just got it back One day turnaround, no waiting for parts.

They replaced the axle shafts with the new part numbers.
Everything is fine now.

My EB started to vibrate a few months ago. Dealership wouldn’t cover under warranty because of my 1” leveling kit. I paid up for Tremor axles. As a goodwill gesture dealer took $150 off labor and gave me another $160 in points.

Although it cost me money I’m much more comfortable having installed the Tremor axles.

Take this with a grain of salt, it's just a game of he said/she said at this point in time. But it sounds like Ford identified engineering flaws with the CVs and reengineered them. Again, nothing official, so don't get your hopes up. Please God let this be true.

Edit: According to other posts, and comparisons of the old and new CV axles, they did in fact change the design.

So you intentionally voided the warranty and altered the joint angles, and expected a warranty claim and everyone else using that dealership has to pay a portion of the "goodwill" that was extended to you. IMHO the dealer did the wrong thing here. That's why the dealer rates are so high, to compensate for this B.S. The dealer should have told you to go pound sand and remove the leveling kit to get it back to warrantee-able condition as part of the fix. Now that you have the Tremor axles in the non-Tremor truck, how is that going to work in a future warranty claim?

LOL. Who pooped in your cornflakes? There is absolutely nothing wrong with him asking for warranty coverage. His attitude was relaxed, which is more than I can say for yours. Are you off your meds?

If you followed this issue long enough you would know that many Maverick CV axles failed with or without leveling kits. The entire thread is "cv axle fix might be coming soon" which is your first clue. Also one inch is very little lift. When I get the time, I plan to do a 2 inch lift. If it stresses the OEM axles and I end up needing to replace them I will first see if I can do it under warranty, whether you like it or not.
