CV axle fix MIGHT be coming soon

Take this with a grain of salt, it's just a game of he said/she said at this point in time. But it sounds like Ford identified engineering flaws with the CVs and reengineered them. Again, nothing official, so don't get your hopes up. Please God let this be true.

Edit: According to other posts, and comparisons of the old and new CV axles, they did in fact change the design.

If it's anything like the dash rattle TSB and the 2WD requirement, I bet you'll have to have a Cyber Orange truck built on a sunny Tuesday in 2021 to qualify for the recall.

I'm gonna be so happy. If Ford addresses the battery and CV issues around the same time, it's gonna make me love this truck even more than I already do.

My money is on no. but they will happily replace them within the 3/36k.... and only if your dealership is a good one...that will claim/say they are bad and needing replacement.

Hopeful that all 2025s come with upgraded CV axles. Ford should just put the tremor CVs in all mavericks across the board.

Fix the issue so folks can enjoy their trucks.

If you have CV issues or have had CV issues it is very important that it is reported to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) at NHTSA.gov .
If Ford does not do a voluntary recall the NHTSA can force them if enough complaints are made.
