It means that Ford Corporate is looking at your order and may or may not decide to schedule your vehicle for production soon.

Before you ask it just depends. Nobody knows how long it takes to go from Priority 2 to In Production. Did you not see the diagram above that James St. Patrick posted? It's your best bet in determining when your vehicle will be built.
I think many of us are being burnt by the allocation concept. Many dealers will get very limited allocations from the regions because they don’t do enough volume. My dealer received Two ecobost. 1 retail and 1 stock and hasn’t had an allocation since. allocations is something you fight along with constraints and order date. My dealers is honest and has told me many times that he doesn’t know when and if he will get ant further allocations but I am priority 2 and out of 10 ( 9 are pri 19) hybrids he took orders for I am first in line.

order date July 20th.

I see it differently. I don't think people blame Ford for supply issues. The complaint, from me and most others, is the absence of communication from Ford with their pending order customers. Not a lack of communication, a total absence of communication. I would appreciate it even if they emailed me every couple weeks and said "we don't know." Just an indication from them that they intend to communicate when they have relevant information, that would be appreciated by me. But not a word from the manufacturer since I placed my order in July is a loud statement of indifference from Ford. It's such an easily fixable problem, too. They've got all of us spending five figures and they can't even get it together to have their marketing team send an email. They wouldn't even need to buy a stamp. You order a pizza on Door Dash and they're updating you in real time but Ford hasn't said a word to me, not a word, in five months. It's dumbfounding.
That's very well put.. yes complete lack of communication is puzzling. But I will also say that it's a sign of the times. I purchased solar from Tesla and had 0 communication - ultimately canceled. And I can't seem to speak to anyone on phone support anywhere. So I don't know what to think. Ford should know that their customers are not happy about the lack of communication.

Hi Tim. All your efforts are so appreciated, you've been the voice of reason! If there is any way to say thank you, other than subscribing and liking your videos, please let us know. If you are doing any fundraising or something like that, I'd be happy to kick in to say thanks.

My question is one that you probably have answered so my apologies for asking you to repeat: I have a hybrid Lariat with the Luxury Package which is at 16% restraint. I assume that means that of all of the Lariat Luxury Package orders, only 16% are going to be scheduled for a build? Or does it mean that of all the builds that are being scheduled, 16% are Lariat Luxury Package vehicles? Thanks again for your generous spirit!
Means that 16% of all scheduled Mavericks will have the Lariat Luxury Package

My dealer told me 3 weeks ago that I had been progressed from priority 10 to priority 2, Tim. I asked what that meant and they said, "it's a higher priority," LOL. Would you mind explaining what the significance of that move from 10 to 2 is? I still don't have a build date (Hybrid Lariat w/ Luxury package), incidentally. Thanks.
The region will move orders to priority tyou priority too based on what they want the factory to schedule. Typically the older orders are what the region will try to get the factory to pull. All of our orders that are priority too have border dates in June in July.

Maybe off-topic but I was told today [Thursday] that the 4k tow package was sold out for 2022 Mavericks; that is, I could not order it. Can anyone confirm???

Thanks,
James L. Harrison
FOLLOW-UP: The dealer informed me that the 4K tow package was finally accepted and my OB Lariat order in hot pepper red confirmed by Ford. With an expected delivery date of 6 to 12 months...

Hello everyone. I received my email confirmation from Ford on Dec 13th. I ordered an XL with the ecoboost, no add-ons. Do you think that trim with no add-ons could potentially get built sooner due to its simplicity? Thanks in advance!

No, it depends on to many factors. Order date, your dealers allocations, parts availability at the factory, ect.

First post, long time lurker.

I need some advice. I was very close to placing my order yesterday after months of research and countless hours of YouTube reviews. On final check of the PO I noticed DIBL listed under my XLT Lux and called the dealer to make sure they switch it back to SIBL. According to the dealer Ford is not accepting SIBL selections currently (assuming due to constraints).

Would you just place the order with DIBL and hope to change pre-production or just eat the cost to have a SIBL applied after delivery (whatever year that may be)?

Given my time investment, I’m very keen on this being “my” Maverick. But more so just want to get the process started.

My dealer told me 12-16 weeks on my XLT 4k tow. Who is saying 6-12 months? I'll just cancel if this is true. I'm not waiting that long. I'll buy something else.

Spray-in liner no longer available with XLT Lux as of early November, the XLT Lux package includes drop-in from that time forward.

I totally agree with your statement. As a consumer, I would challenge Ford to explain their lack of transparency. But what can we do...we're nothing but minions on their balance sheet. The least we can is go elsewhere. If I was really desperate, I'll head to Honda and grab a Ridgeline. But unfortunately, I am one of so many I'll probably be nothing more than flyshit on the wall.
