I can't get it to work either. I've tried it four times. (Update: I think I found that you have to actually get out of the vehicle and let it fully shut down, then you get back in and you can start the whole process. If you try it after driving and shutting off the truck and never actually getting out, it doesn't work. You have to leave your seat. Must be a sensor thing. After I did that and follow the instructions I was able to shut off the seat belt chime).

I also want to get rid of that damn chime when your door is open and your key is in the initial ignition position or the radio only position. That one just never stops! Any clue for that? I saw a couple videos for the F-150 using some foreskin program through a computer. Is it really that complicated to shut off one little chime?
This works. Letting the truck fully shut down.

Yeah I know, I got it to work. Still haven't figured out how to shut off the chime when your door is open and key is in the ignition

I would like that also. Please post if you figure it out.
That was pretty much my initial question in this post. That's why I mentioned the forscan thing. Somebody does it with that program but I don't know anything about it

I can’t get mine to do it. My 22 turned off as it should but the 23 I got Friday won’t. The seatbelt light never goes off no matter how long I wait.

Thanks OP! Manual instructions didn't work for me, little light never would go off like instructions say. But the instructions on the first post in this thread worked for the driver's seat on my 2023 EB Lariat. (haven't tried pass seat yet).

I've found a similar method that works every time.
Step one, get in vehicle.
Step two, buckle seat belt.
That's it, no annoying noise or dash lights. Problem solved.
You forgot step 3: push button on steering wheel to cancel seat belt reminder in dash, which does not shut off automatically in my 2022 EB.

Hmm, my 2022 Hybrid does not show a reminder. The only time I see a seat belt reminder is if a passenger gets out of the truck.

I'm happy to report I disabled mine. I was skeptical at first but even just driving around the property without hearing it go off is kinda nice.

Pair this with disabling the double honk and it's worth more than all ze gold in your Fort Knox.
(I really hope someone gets that reference)

‘23 lariat hybrid here. Did it 3-4 times pretty much the same and finally it worked. I’d say just keep doing it until it does. One thing I paid attention to instead of the beginning “wait 5 seconds” I waited until the airbag orange light was off on the last time and then the process worked. Saw the red seatbelt indicator blink 3 times. Done.
Thanks for the guide. I’m not going to do the passenger side.

I finally got mine to turn off over the weekend. I tried a couple of months ago and gave up after 30 minutes of trying.

Couple of tricks that may help:

1) Leave the parking brake OFF. Even though the instructions say turn it on, it only worked for me when it was off.

2) Timing I think is the hardest part. Put the seatbelt in. As soon as the orange seatbelt light turns off, pull it out. When it turns back on immediately put it back in. Repeat 4 or 5 times. I tried doing it slowly 3-4 seconds in between and even one second. Ignore that and just take it in and out as soon as the light turns on or off.

Hopefully that helps someone else.

I tries using the manual's way, and it didn't work. I tried using Flomounier1's way (with the parking brake both on and off) and that didn't work, either. I truly hate technology...

When I did mine about a month ago, 2) helped. 1) did not, as the brake was ON when I successfully disabled it.

Regardless, it is possible to disable the chime on a per-seat basis. But you have to be persistent and keep trying the procedure.
